I had meant to say an all male DOCTORS point of view regarding the link in my previous comment. it is a drs point of view regarding Pap tests. it was taken from the blog critics site which is also linked above by Mark.

That is just proof of what I already knew. Even if the doctor is professional and not really trying to do anything appropriate it is impossible not to at least enjoy the view when the patient is young, fit and attractive. I mean he sees everything, completely bare legs and inner thighs, butt cheeks, entire vulva, both exposed breasts. I mean men are sexually attracted to women. Why would he not enjoy what he sees. He may not stare, do the medical procedure but that doesn't mean he didn't like what he saw. I mean he basically saw her completely naked. Was her life on the line? No, it was just some routine check-up. I guess for the women and husbands that don't mind other men getting enjoyment from seeing you naked or seeing your their wives completely nude and getting the perk that his job offers when the patients are young, healthy and pretty that is one thing but don't act like they are completely unaware.....like they are robots. Men are sexaully attracted to beautiful nude women, don't act like they are completely oblivious to the fact some gorgeous lady is naked. They may be professional about it but it is strange to say they don't notice or that what they saw wasn't appealing. I guess if you don't care that is one thing but it is a little interesting to ponder that women do when they could seek out lady doctors for that type of exam.

I guess with some husbands they don't consider the nudity of his wife.....being allowed to see her completely exposed and vulnerable and to fully enjoy the view of her body as an intimate thing. A thing that is exclusive for him only (excluding some life/death emergency like a traffic accident).

This is one of the stupidest god damned topics on the forum.
Yeah, your doctor is going to throw everything away because your wife is that special. He has never seen anything that spectacular in his entire life and he is willing to change everything for just a piece, no just a touch, of your wife.

You are an idiot and whoever started this thread is one dumb MF!

Not as stupid as your post which contains no research, is it. Your comments are obviously from a dumb person with no life experience.
She doesn't need any research, cock-bite, just commonsense which you apparently don't have. Only a man would be this insecure with his relationship and carry on a thread for 8 months worrying about some male doctor looking at his precious wife. The topic is absurd. I can't believe anyone would still be posting as it was stupid from the first post.

Hennifer, I will let you into a little wisdom through age/experience...

ANY job/profession gets dull in-time, even the medical profession. Male Doctors get bored with the 'routine', monotony creeps in, boundaries start to get pushed, it's human nature. Don't you surf the internet? Haven't you seen the HUGE list of sexual assault convicted male doctors?

We are here to EXPOSE human nature, pure and simple, and to make sure that Women are safe when they visit their Doctor.

A POST FROM AN ACTUAL DOCTOR'S EX WIFE
(to prove a point):

381 - Doctors ex-wife...
Apr 09, 2010 at 6:52 pm

I was married to a male doctor for 12 years, believe me, they DO notice, sometimes enjoy and will change the way they do a consult and what is included if they find the patient really attractive.

My ex-husband was careful not to do anything that couldn't be justified medically or by usual procedure. Given doctors in the States include routine intimate exams when not clinically necessary, it gives them a lot of leeway.

My ex-husband never felt he was taking advantage, it was a perk of the job. I strongly disapproved and he stopped mentioning it to me but when his colleagues had a few drinks at our home, the lascivious talk would start. Even one colleague who strongly denied he even noticed, he was a professional after all, admitted you can't turn off the male genes and he had his "favorites".

It disgusted me!

My ex-husband warned me away from male doctors when we met and told me to forget annual physicals, they were not clinically necessary or even helpful.

I still use a self-test kit my ex-husband sourced for me every 5 years. His colleagues don't mention self test kits to their patients because they want to do the exam. Although one obese older patient got the offer of a self-test kit.

It goes on...unspoken and denied, but use your common sense. Do you really think a heterosexual man is not going to notice and enjoy having a young and/or attractive woman naked with legs spread apart in front of him and being able to touch and probe? My ex was surprised that many young women were happy to expose themselves like that now that female doctors are available.

Anyone who thinks they don't notice after a period of time is kidding themselves. Unattractive women and older women are safer, my husband would go through the motions or express his disgust to me if they were overweight or unattractive in some other way.

Some young women don't care and even feel more comfortable exposing themselves to a man. A young woman (family friend)told my ex-husband that her doctor had an erection after giving her a pelvic exam. My ex-husband covered for the doctor, but told me later that sometimes that happens, just as it happens elsewhere in life when you're stimulated visually or physically.

Don't kid yourselves...a medical degree does not change all the normal urges and reactions.

A CHILLING FACT FOR YOU MONA...

It wasn't that long ago that erotic shots of women were used in medical schools, so women were presented in a 'sexual and alluring' way (not in an anatomical/clinical way). Yet it was those outside the profession (in the main) who eventually forced change... hopefully, it no longer goes on.

In the past I think female students felt they must identify with their male peers to find acceptance in the profession, hopefully, that's changed... to some degree anyway?

I know the Association of Women in Science took action in the 1970s to have these photos removed from several medical schools... that's not so long ago.

A few years ago I had the oportunity to marry a male doctor, an infertility specialist here in the UK. I turned him down due to his actual arrogant disregard for women. Yes, sure he was nice and professional towards his patients, but at home and when socialising with friends his actual manner showed quite clearly!

I spent many hours trying to justify his mannerisms but I failed so I chose to end the engagement as I realised that I couldn't go through day to day life wondering which patients he was taking a fancy to!

Far too intimate a job for any man IMO, and this comes from a woman who had complete admiration for this doctor until his true colours revealed themselves.

Not only did I reject his marriage proposal, I would never allow another male doctor to inspect me intimately ever again, not as long as I walk this earth!

May I just add: If you're a woman reading this thread and you're married to a male doctor that specialises in women's genetalia or reproductive organs, BEWARE! Check him out, listen to his private conversations if necessary. From the doctors that I associated with through my ex-partner, I would guesstimate that only a small minority of them were sincere and honourable in their approach to their profession. The rest were mainly after sexual excitement, they made that quite clear!

Little girl, it's many middle aged men commenting. We are not young, naive, immature and definatally insecure .
in fact, I don't have a dog in the fight. My w/f see's a woman ob, something I've consistently stated. She did have a run in with a perv male g.p. it happens. Know it, understand it, beware. If these a holes policed themselves there would be less of it, but they don't. They cover for one an other. Their bad. One day (most) woman will only see woman doctors, it's the only way they can get a fair deal. Male doctors will lose patients, at the end of the day they have only themselves to blame, boo fckin' who. Police, police themselves, it's called I.A. Are male doctors above the law??? Apparently many think so. It's 2012 almost 2013, let's put an end to the good ole boys club. What do you say????

They have far too easy access to many women... it's like a child in a sweet-shop sort of situation.

trying to work out why most women are ok with male doctors invading them down there???

Especially when if any other man was to walk in on them changing, then they would scream the house down!

It just seems SO weird???

Could it be that they actually admire the male doctors???

Can anyone answer this???

what has changed in 8 months? it was wrong 8 months ago, it was wrong 200 years ago, 2000 years ago, it is still wrong today.
you have been brainwashed to think it is ok. it is not only an immoral and unethical practice, it is also hypocritical given the standards of our day.

Interesting also isn’t it that with people being ‘so bad at monogamy’ it is the female that is under medical surveillance and not the male. It takes two to tango doesn’t it?

Is there an equivalent medical speciality in America that recommends that 13-15 year old boys start genital exams? Are young men encouraged to attend yearly sessions with a doctor to check for STDs or testicular cancer or other problems?

Is there a screening programme in place for men in which they are denied information that will enable them to make an informed choice? And then subjected to over-treatment ‘for their own good’?

I think the answers to these questions speak for themselves.

lol...sorry but I must laugh a little at this as I once heard a OBGYN doctor tell me. Trust me after seeing thousands of these they all loose there sexual appeal. So yeah., as a man/husband I guess it could be a little unnerving to know your she is being seen by a male. however keep in mind it's no different than you men going through the "cough" test with a female nurse/doctor.

They are there for one thing and one thing only and trained professionals at their occupation. To them we are all just "take a ticket take a seat" type of day.
