so, has everyone heard that the two mile stretch of ring road is going to eat up 15.8 million dollars of the 3 plus billion ky is getting in stimulas aid? Why are our lawmakers doing such stupid things when we really, really need to create new jobs or keep current employment here in hardin county??? If the Governor of our great commonwealth is hell bent on bringing casinos here, then why not plant them on the already state owned ground in glendale?!What is the agenda here? Where is the lottery money going - wasn't that supposed to help the schools? Now we can't afford to keep teachers? Several ideas here, but where is common sense???!!!

why don't the teachers do a better job teacheing and maybe they would be able to keep their jobs,I know people who can not read and this is called a good teacher.I do not think so. they should be paid on how well they do,just like anyone else.
Another thought why did they start the ring road project if they were not going to have the money to finish it.Now they have the money but what if it had not passed. Also the only jobs this money is going to make is to keep the ones working that are still working. As far as Casinos our governor talks out both sides of his mouth, just depends on who he is with.

I suggest the city and state repair the roads we have now so we can get to the new two mile stretch of ring road. And also if you aren't careful you will loose your car in one of those big holes. When I turn in the entrance by McDonalds in front of the mall I look like I am driving drunk trying to miss all the big holes. I mean we might as well go back to dirt or gravel roads, I think they would be smoother. What are they doing with that new restaurant tax? I bet all the officials don't do without.

There are giant holes all over E'town. Go down by McDonalds in front of the mall. I have to drive like a drunk to keep from hitting all the holes. The front of my car is going to be so messed up, I wonder who will pay for that. Oh, lets see........ME!!

Actually, a friend of mine got the city to pay for damage done to her car by the potholes. Dont know how she got the city to pay though.

well then I want to pick and choose who would be in my class. Don't give me any of the dumb ones that momma hasn't weaned off the t it yet. Do you seriously think that? You scare me if you're out there driving on the roads and have free use of the internet. God, please don't tell me you can vote!!!!!!

Road extensions are actually good for the county.. Allows more traffic and there are more places to build companies.. It all pays off in the long run and it saves me gas money now so why not

According to the KYTC, the current ring road extension to the WK will wrap up in the summer of 2013. The final extension to I-65 is in the design phase now. When approved it will complete the project that was first proposed in 1987--perhaps even connecting a bit further on to 31-W.
