pediatrician

any good/bad experiences with pediatricians in the etown area? please advise. thanks in advance.

dr compton in etown on woodland dr is great and the staff there are so nice and we never are there forever like we were at our former office

Do not go to Dr. Baula. Absolutely horrible! The lady at the front is very rude. The female Dr. is ok. But dont see the male. He told me i needed to put my 5 month old son on a diet!!!!

I have to agree with mom of 3 boy. I have been going there for 2-1/2 years and I love the staff they are all good people but my sons also see Dr. Compton he's great. The longest time I have ever spent in the office was 45 min. and that's from the time I walked in and out the door. My son was there for his ADD checkup and they do take a little longer sometimes when you have to go over how they have been doing. And Dr. Compton doesn't rush you when you ask him questions he always asks me if I need to know about anything else before he walks out the door. The office is called Norton Pediatric Clinic.

Excuse me do you know the meaning of ADD?? I think you are thinking of ADHD. My son knows what no means and he is the only one in the family with it. He has trouble focusing in class its not because he is wild and out of control. Learn the facts before you go and say a stupid comment like that.

dr padgett at norton community medical is HORRIBLE he takes for ever and doesnt care about the kids he sees. im so trying to find a better one. dr flynn is amazing but they are rarely accepting new patients

I agree my son was sick one Saturday and he was the dr. on call and I didnt like him either, but my kids never see another dr. unless its on a Saturday and Dr. Comptons not on call or if Dr. Compton is out sick or on vacation and I have to get them in to see someone. You can choose which dr your child sees except for those 2 conditions

dr padgett has see my son since he was born and he has real bad congestion problems and stops breathing and he keeps telling me its normal. umm its not normal for him to turn blue and not be able to breathe hello! so im trying to find him a better one

Totally agree...I loved Dr.Vicki, however, you had to take whichever they wanted you to have when you arrived. Haven't been back for around 3 years, don't plan to ever go back...

i use to take my 7 year old to dr. dao.....when he was 4 i swithed to radcliff pediatrics....and love them!!!! wouldnt recommended dao to anyone

I only went to Dr. Dao twice. I thought maybe the first time was just an off day for the office. The second time was even worse. They make you wait in the waiting room for hours and then you have to wait just as long when you get back there. Don't ask to throw your dirty diaper away. They tell you that you need to carry it with you until you leave. I'm sorry, but when kids are sick you don't want to carry around a diaper that is very unpleasant. I don't think the other patients would be very please to smell feces either. I finally asked if there was somewhere outside to throw it, they advised me that there was a dumpster at the end of the parking lot. You could have offered the dumpster the first time instead of me having to ask embarrassingly. The staff is so rude! I don't recommend it to anyone. They were running so late that i asked if i could come back later that afternoon since that what time it seems the dr. was going to be able to see us anyway. I think having an 8:30 appointment and still waiting in the waiting room at 11:00 they should have let me come back, but no, they couldn't fit me back in til the following week. So i am suppose almost a week to get my child back in with an ear infection? Sounds like an office i never went back to.

Oh jeez. I hated going to dao. ALL the nurses were very rude, except one dark haired one. I took my son in for a cold..i think he was barely one then..and left with a freakin breathing machine. She gave one out , it seemed, to everyone that day. needless to say its not really ever been used. SO then I went to dr.baula...the woman dr. is nice, but the guy doc. acts like he could give two shits less about your problem and wants to rush out of there...

So, this nortons place..they are good? do they accept passport?

yeah theyre good. just dont take your child to dr padgett. he is a moron. when i took my son back i told them that he usually sees him but i wanted a second oppinion. so we seen amanda owen. she was awesome. she did everything i asked and listened to everything i said and ran the tests that was needed.

Pediatric Associates- Marquita Ball, Dr. Flynn and Dr. Pearman are very good in E-town behind Wendy's. But they fill up very fast and its hard to find a time when their accepting new patients because their that good. At one time Dr. Ball was the head of Pediatrics at HMH, but I don't know if she still is.

I used to take my kids to Dr Saifullah, but switched. When a doctor switched staff as much as he does there it a problem. Things get missed as did with my kids. His care has gone down hill. He can not even keep a NP or PA. Whe staff is changed so much things are missed.
