Planet Fitness is ok if you're a woman or child. But if you want to build muscle it's weak.

I love Planet Fitness. I'm NOT poor white trash, and I DO know a dumbbell from a donkeys ass. They're clean, and if you're worried about people that may not have cleaned up equipment, do it your damm self before using it, that simple. I love that most of the people there are just average people like myself, who are there to work out and do better for themselves. And it's not all beauty queens and body builders.

I was told on a tour that my child (below 13) could wait in the front area while I worked out. So there I go, first time in a gym in 15 years and my son is upfront waiting for me and then he comes and get me and says a lady wants to talk to me, it was the manager saying I couldn't leave my child there while I worked out! She said NObody under 13 allowed in there! I'm gone!

That's weird. I take my son and my nephew with me, one is 12 and the other 14. I sign them in as my guest and they work out too. No one has said a word to me.

Then go to another gym. They don't cater to "body builders" not
saying you are one, but for those going to show off is not what they are about. Good for you that you like to go build muscle but it's designed to help lose weight and better your body for better health.

you can get a membership at anytime for around 25 dollars and that includes Hydro massage and Tanning! Also, they are very laid back and have a VERY clean facility. Planet fitness is very nice but I don't agree with their Pizza days! who want to smell Pizza while they r working out...
Simple. don't go on pizza day? It's once a month.

It also says to wipe it down AFTER use, idiot. I would never lay in a dirty bed but I don't want to have to clean up tons and tons of sweat and goop left by the person before me! Are you one of the lazy people who don't wipe it down after you use it? I wipe it of before and after, as it states to. Or did you misread? I just want it to be known! Most people don't pay attention to the rules or instructions and they aren't 100% enforced so, sorry to burn your fire but that makes me a tad irate that some people can be so disgusting!
I'm so glad you have stooped to the level of immaturity. I went last night and the bed that I went in, had hand prints in it, from lotion I'm sure. What did I do? Sprayed down the bed, wiped it clean. Did my tan. THEN I CLEANED IT AGAIN. Griping about it is going to get you no where. You must be one of those people that needs to be catered to hand and foot. Get over it.

If you are that concerned then you need to be at the counter at PF and complain to them instead of acting like a toddler that got a toy snatched up.

Or maybe they have a position open for the tanning police. There are a million things in this world that people don't follow the rules or instructions completely and I'm sure you are just the outstanding citizen that looks both ways crossing the street, doesn't text when they drive, stops fully at stop signs, etc. You've probably picked the pants out of your ass in public just as well as the next person so quit whining, or go to the source.

The real question that should be asked is: which other gym will go out of business first? Will it be Energy or Anytime? Or could it be ETown S&F?

Don't get it twisted people. ESFC will never go out of business because of a weak gym like planet fitness. Because that's where the people with money and balls go.

Im pretty sure that one person stated he just wants to make it known people are supposed to clean up before AND after. Doesn't sound immature to me oh and no, I'm not catered to hand and foot but I think people should respect the gyms rules seeing as its such a great price and all, it's the LEAST THEY could do themselves. Unless they want to prove others that they are just lazy trash. More than likely that person did go to management and if not oh well at least they're respecting the rules of cleanliness.

And btw, aren't you a bit immature yourself coming on here to "scrap?" that's a level of low in itself ragging on someone just making a statement.

It is not necessarily for "low budget" folks. I agree that people should clean up after themselves as the signs state. I would also agree that the staff needs to be watching and when they catch someone not wiping down their equipment, then they need to confront that person. In the tanning rooms, if you get a dirty bed go back out front and report it. They write down on the sheet what number bed you were sent to, so the person before you left it dirty, let them know so they can let that person know-

I like it, I clean the machines when I am done as well as the tanning beds, I wipe down before and after, I don't wanna lay in anybody else's funk, nor the hydro beds. I find it convenient to my lifestyle, for the price, the location and the amenities. If you go back to Anytime, kudos to you for continuing on your gym time.

I am a stay at home mom, with a four month old and I babysit M-F. If that makes me low budget or poor or cheap, so be it. To each their own.

But for the lady that was on here whining about someone not cleaning, posting on Topix isn't going to fix a dirty bed. She's complaining for no reason, but just that, to complain. Does nothing for the gym or for her if she doesn't go to the right people.

I don't even know the lady but you are being a jerk. You ever think that maybe they waited to get married? In the world we live in any more who the hell are you to judge if she has an 11 year old but has only been married 7 years, who gives two squirts of duck doo, you're just being obnoxious!!
