Well he might not use pre cooked bbq that was a joke, at least I hope not because he knows how to cook pork.
He has owned two bbq restaurants on the coast.
Everything else is the truth.
All the way down to the overalls he wore in the interview with the press he is a fake,Its all an illusion. I don't dislike him for that he does very well fooling his customers but I swear, ask any Mennonite and watch the look on there face.
I just talked to one of the Mennonite roof installers down here about Dan and he said that his sister had tried working for Dan, it was too much.
Dan needs help, he spends 24 7 in that restaurant and is a very unhappy man. He tries to get everything for nothing and treats his help like slaves,

Persist.
No lies just joking but I would not put it past him. He solved the problem with the pork he don't have it on the menu. If you like the food don't worry about what I say.
All I am saying is if you like the food and don't want to wait go to Ryan's it's half the price, same slop and you won't have to wait or sit with strangers.
He is selling the idea, good for him. If you think he is breaking all those beans and peeling all those potatoes you are out of your mind. They are out of a can or box.

That is it I must move on, I have Romney fans to agitate.
People who like all you can eat and Republicans are the easiest.
Everything I have said about the farmers Daughter is true but I still wish them success. Like I said before, Greene county needs the revenue.
Now let it go stop being so angry.

You KNOW absolutely NOTHING about Dan. He is a fine man, and is always a gentleman to his customers, and to the staff. I PERSONALLY know many of his employees, and they are ALL happy there. Dan is right there, in the kitchen, helping. Of course, they are busy since they are so popular. He is not at the restaurant 24/7, and he is certainly NOT unhappy! He serves the best meats, veggies, etc. Many vegetables come from area growers, when available. The mashed potatoes ARE real potatoes. I don't know exactly what your problem is other than you are a very jealous, bitter, man. You are the only person I have ever heard complain about Farmer's Daughter. We will ALL continue to go there, and enjoy the best Southern cooking ANYWHERE!

I doubt you know as much as my dog. So were you lying when you said you were lying or was that just another lie. It's hard to take your statement that nothing you have said is a lie when in your earlier post you admitted you were lying. Takes a really big lire to lie about lying

You lied again. You said your last post was your last post on the subject. Yet one more lie you told.

He has been charged with assault on a humble man, and expects his workers to bow to him, he needs to be shut down, he is a pervert that loves to abuse women and call them whores, and use them to the fullest. Yes, he uses can beans and anything thats cheap... no lies here just facts...

Farmer's Daughter is extremely clean, and their workers are clean. Their health rating is tops. Dan is a very nice man and has never been anything but respectful to his many customers. Of course, fresh produce is not available the year round but Farmer's Daughter uses many fresh vegetables from area farmers when available. His food has always been very good quality and remains our favorite "Family Style" restaurant. Look at the crowded parking lot and that will tell you thousands feel the same way. People who are successful always have their detractors. They are just jealous "little" people.

I have been there many times and have never left disappointed or hungry. Some of the best home style cooking around. If the food there does not please you then you have never experienced a really great meal in your life. Someone else summed it up if it is so bad how come you have to wait most days to get in ? People don't wait for bad food and service.

Six of us had lunch at the Farmer's Daughter today. The food was absolutely wonderful. We had the best server we have ever had anywhere, LaVerda. Rachel, one of the owners welcomed us and later Dan, the other owner, came by and asked if we needed anything. This restaurant is always immaculate and the food has always been excellent. Today, in addition to everything else they offer, they had fresh corn-on-the-cob and fried green tomatoes! If you have never eaten at Farmer's Daughter you have missed a great experience.

Just curious how all you folks actually have time to drive that far and eat lunch on a weekday. I've always wanted to try it, but I've never had time. Do you folks work or have jobs, or a bunch of retired fogies or what? I may not want to know the truth since we have all these people running the roads and living and eating off the govt during the week while us working fools barely have time to drive thru and get a burger. Yep, I'm tired and cranky.

The six of us are retired after working 40+ years each. We are definitely not on the dole, and never have been. I also resent those who use EBT cards, look able bodied, and drive better cars than ours. We all grew up the hard way, picking beans, strawberries, and blackberries when we were children. We then got jobs we held long term, and a couple of our group farmed on the side and one couple still does. Farmer's Daughter is open Saturday, and Sunday. I hope you will get to try it as the food is the best of country cooking. You get a choice of 2 meats + yeast rolls, cornbread, about 12 side dishes, drinks, and desserts. The cost is $15, including tax. You will not be disappointed.

The Farmers Daughter is run by a Mennonite wanabe who treats his people like slaves.
He uses the cheapest ingredients he can find,
He once thew a pot of mashed potatoes in a cooks face and was charged with assault and was sued.
He also was charged with sexual harassment I heard, I don't know if anything became of it.
He sells the atmosphere but his food is slop.
Now I hear he is going to steal the donuts from the Mennonites.
If he was a Mennonite he would not be open on Sunday.
Everyone who knows him knows he is a prick. Don't be fooled he gets his ingredients from institutional foods, the same company that provides the food for the jails.....yuck
The farmers daughter is OWNED and ran by a WOMAN!!! With a college degree and strong family background! Get ur stories straight before you trash someone's life
