Oh no you are wrong, most of your quality restaurants use sysco. Institutional foods is just what they are. they mostly supply schools hospitals and jails. the cheapest you can find.
If you like it fine.
HELLO, Sysco IS institutional food. You need to wake up? Dan and Rachel are happily married STILL! I do not know what your problem is with Dan, but I think it is YOU who has the problem. I am sure your feelings about Dan do not matter to him. He is laughing all the way to the bank.

If they are I am glad, Rachel is a saint.
Glad Dan is doing good, I want to see all Greene county business do well. We need the revenue.
My problem with him is how he treats his help. He is abusive and expects everyone to bow down to him. He assaulted
a cook and had to pay a settlement.
He employed Illegal aliens at his bakery and sent them home crying many days.
His behavior will catch up to him one day.
I will give him credit, he had an idea, he stuck to his plan, and he took the risk but if you really knew him you would find out he is not the man you think he is.
I have the right to my on opinion here in this forum.

Does Sysco own institutional foods? If so I stand corrected but I think institutional food is there own company who supplies the hospitals Jails and nursing homes.
Dan uses the cheapest he can find.
If you like it good for you.
Try to leave more than a dollar a person tip next time you go.
His help work like dogs.
If they are still married, great. It's just what I heard and find it easy to believe, she deserves better.

Are you sure that was his Wife you met?
I am not jealous of Dan He is good at what he does but that does not excuse the way he treats his help. I have talked to Mennonites whose family has tried to work for Dan and even though they are humble people they are not going to be abused by an angry and troubled man
The Farmerís Daughter is a great place. You must be a complete looser to attack these folks. You are probably the only employee they were hard on and if your posts are any indication you needed to be fired. Quit attacking one of my favorite restaurants for you BS agenda.

Just ask a Mennonite they know him.
Huh Moron, Loser dang your getting creative.
If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen, or I might throw a pot of hot mashed potatoes at you. LOL
I have no agenda, just facts and I love to see how easy buttons are pushed.

I just wish he would treat his help like humans.

The Farmers Daughter is located between the Mountain view bulk food store and Cherokee storage buildings.
If you he's smoking pork you will smell it but you might want to check the dumpster for the pails of pulled pork...After you wait for two hours your going to be so hungry that your not going to know the difference. LOL (Just saying)

Well he might not use pre cooked bbq that was a joke, at least I hope not because he knows how to cook pork.
He has owned two bbq restaurants on the coast.
Everything else is the truth.
All the way down to the overalls he wore in the interview with the press he is a fake,Its all an illusion. I don't dislike him for that he does very well fooling his customers but I swear, ask any Mennonite and watch the look on there face.
I just talked to one of the Mennonite roof installers down here about Dan and he said that his sister had tried working for Dan, it was too much.
Dan needs help, he spends 24 7 in that restaurant and is a very unhappy man. He tries to get everything for nothing and treats his help like slaves,
All true,
As long as people listen I have every right to join this forum.

I never worked at the restaurant, believe me he is very hard on his help. Just read his add when he runs it in the paper it more or less says slaves wanted.
The story about him assaulting a cook is true, the guy was half his size and a very humble person and it's true he got a settlement.
Dan can be very mean and abusive, I have no reason to attack him.
His help needs to know if he fires them because they just make a mistake, they can draw unemployment. He is not king.
It has to be willful misconduct to be fired, not just for making a mistake or because someone don' like them

Notice that ribs are not on the menu except for catering, he know there is no way to serve ribs cheaply, they cost too much.
Has anyone used him for catering?
I would love to hear their comments.
What about no doggy bags? Does he not trust his customers or does he add the left overs back to the pot?

Why do you care about the business so much its nothing to you. Just give it up and get a life, every one is tired of hearing you beating a dead horse to death. People can and will make up their own mind without your help. Dont go there if you don't like the food or the people.

Well he tried to con my best farmer friend on the cabbage and the cook he assaulted was a good friend of mie, you quit responding Ill quit posting.
I'm done, if you like the place great. I want him to be successful. Like I said, Greene county needs the revenue.
Also it is a place where large groups of older people can come for a day out, I know Dan and even though I don't like him I know the people like it, I see the parking lot,.

You never worked there and never eat there, so you essentially know nothing. Yet you run your mouth with nothing to base it on. You are pretty pathetic to attack something you acknowledge you know nothing about. Amazing.
