One question. Why should we cater to Chic filet when they would not use local help to built the store or even buy the material to built it with. Should our City Council request they use local help when we need jobs here.....Only in Carter County........

That shouldn't even be reported in the paper. That is sad! It just goes to show you how culturally retarded this county is. And the sad thing.....it isn't a surprise.

Apparently some people have a very sad life to camp out for a chicken sandwich. But only in Carter County ...................

Just for a free Chick-Fil-A meal each week for a year? Not worth it, but I guess it's the closest thing Carter County citizens can get to winning the lottery. Lol

The same thing happened in Kingsport when Buffalo Wild Wings opened. They gave out 52 food vouchers to the first 100 in. It's not just Carter County people. IT'S EVERYWHERE!!!

This happens at all the chic-fil-a openings people! The first 100 or so in line get a free sandwich for a year or something. Look it up. It happens everywhere!! I heard that someone at city hall wants them to take the cow down! Now, that's crazy. The cow is synonymous with chic-fil-a. They do it for grand opening only! Who is that crazy old guy down there with white hair anyway?? Not a good ambassador for Elizabethton. Other than that, seems like a nice town.

Why doesn't the city mgr or the council or someone, try to get him to retire. The man is out of touch and seems to always be at the center of controversy. Isn't there a younger, more talented guy down there in the planning dept. He seems to know his stuff from what i have been told. Anything Ornduff has to do with turns into a mess. Come on guys, do the right thing!!!!!!!

Wonder if Chick-Fil-A will put Zaxby's out of business, especially since they are just a few doors down from each other.

What does he know? People need to grow a pair in this town. Elizabethton can do better. Right now it's like the town is one big joke. One big mess after the other.
