Has anyone had a swimming pool installed by Isaac's Pool of Elizabethton, TN.? If so, could you provide me with some comments on the quality of their work?

I thought about putting in a pool several years ago...it didn't take me long to find that the output doesn't equal the input. It's WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. What we really need to think about is a public pool that's agreeable with all of our kids: the Franklin Pool is still affordable & so easy to get to...I carpool bunches of 'em in the summer. If enough of us go; they'll start a league. Talk about gettin' some excersise.(SP?) Communities only thrive on the people that get involved. It's not that bigofadeal. I & my daughter belonged to the city league for two years...the high school got to where they couldn't afford the insurance anymore...end of story. I gained 20lbs. QUICK. We don't need anything less than somewhere for people to go & just hang out - Swim - Walk - Whatever. If you think that you'll do it in your own backyard, you really are kidding yourself. It doesn't happen that way. You have to give yourself over to being "in the community" & make it happen outside yourself. My daughter has friends who have pools, and their pools are not used. We have even rented places that have pools Having one is not always a good idea. The upkeep is unbelieveably.

I had one put in from Isaac's pools about 4 years ago and LOVE IT! I think it's definately worth the "upkeep" of it. I saved so much money having the kid's birthday partys at my house instead of having to drag the cake, drinks, gifts and then stay have to stay late and clean up the mess.
I have all the family gatherings for cook outs and a swim party at my house. Our pool NEVER sits empty. I think it's well worth having one put in, and the upkeep of it's not all that hard either. You just have to put forth a little effort. The last time I went to the Franklin pool (for another kids bd party) Another parent and I both fell in the sludge in the kid's pool, I reported it to the workers that someone could really get hurt, especially if it had been an elderley person and they just looked at me like I was stupid!
But, good luck in your decision. Isaac's has always been super nice to deal with.

Scooby Snack - thanks for your input. We are "playing" with the idea of getting a pool. I like Isaacs pools as far as the people there. They are friendly home town people.

Bull, didn't you just arrest one of the "Issacs" for drug charges? Maybe they would consider giving you a discount on your pool. LOL

I don't think it's fair to judge Isaac's pools based on the behavior of one of the sons. His mom is trying to run a business and has faced her share of adversity. Give her a break.

This is a family business that does great work. Every family has their problems. They are honest and great people. They have put in many pools in the tricities. Their honesty and good work keeps people coming back.

yes...isaacs does a wonderful job..and actually the son that made whatever mistakes is a friend of mine and if it werent for him the inground pools would be deshevleled pieces of crap...he actally enforces the workmanship and quality product that his father Bill Isaacs Jr. and grandfather origianly began this business with.

A comment from a newbie to this. Make sure your site is appropriate for the pool. I have a neighbor who built their pool on fill about 8 years ago and the pool is a wreck now. Isaacs did that one; but has done many others with no problems.
