I used to work for the city school system, and I came to know a little of Mr. Alexander. I came to respect the man from this experience.

I remember when the city was putting up the new scoreboard at TA Dugger. He was there in the late evening, watching the construction process. He was glad to get things done for the schools, fix them up and make improvements whenever he could.

I always thought a lot of Mr. Alexander. Were lucky to have him.

Mr. Alexander is a great man. He cares for the students of Elizabethton just as he cares for his own. I can't stand when the jerks of this town run down people who make a difference in peoples lives everyday. I have the up most respect for Mr. Alexander. Thank you Mr. Alexander for all that you do. Keep up the good work.

Are you kidding me?!? If you had gotten a chance to know him just a little bit better, you'd know that he is a walking nightmare! You must be as delusional as he is.

He may care for his students but he sure doesn't care about the teachers or anyone else who has the guts to stand up to him. I wish i could live in your world and be oblivious to how hateful and destructive he can be.

Edwin is a little dictator. His way or the highway kind of guy. Does some good things of course but overall the only people he gets along with are those who agree with him. Disagree with him and he will show you his true colors. He actually thinks he "is" the school system. Little man complex, OCD control freak, with some PTSD from Nam sprinkled in and there you have Edwin the Great.

Ed Alexander... I a great guy..altho from what ive gathered he has been with his older than self wife for quite sometime... Now his friend Brian Higgs is a different story. Brian Higgs should be blasted on here.. For tax invasion..theft of receipes.. and a cowardly way of treating employees..Dont let smiles guide your outlook on others in public

You can tell a lot about a person by the company he keeps.

All I know is that whenever a school needed something fixed, d saw to it that it got fixed right quick. I liked that in him.

Some of the other school systems (Johnson County in years past) were not always as quick to keep the schools up. My memory of the Johnson County schools is decades old though. I have no idea how they are now.
