Hes a crook and was at one time a convicted felon for dealing stolen cars. I had a car from him only owed 200 dollars and he took my car and when I went to pic up my belongings he said they were gone including a 2000 stereo. Mind you I owed 200 bucks on the car thats it. Was suppose to hold the car for 30days didn't do that either. Try Sweeneys in JC on Main St. Great cars reasonable prices. I currently have 3 cars from him and not had any major problems with any of them. And getting ready to trade our dodge in on a smaller car to use for school.

Try Bradley's in Valley Forge.Cars from $100.00 -$1000.00.No junk, just good cars. Most of them no money down & $25.00 wk.If you dont like the car after you've bought it,bring it back and swap it for another.

If you buy a used car from anybody, I don't care who it is, get a friend or someone you know who is a mechanic to go with you and look over the car. It will save you money in the long run!!

The salon in walmart is it just me or does all the people that work there have bad attatudes. They seem to be more interested on there weekend plans on drnking and parting than the customers. They also spend to much time on cell phones with personal phone calls.

I agree with you 100%. Get someone other than his mechanic to look at the vehicle don't take their word for it, or anyone that sales cars for that matter. I had a friend buy a truck from there within two day of the purchase the truck wouldn't start he took it back and the mechanic there fixed it and within one week after that the transmission went out on the truck. Good Luck!

Look up the kbb value first....don't overpay and believe me I looked for a car for a year and didn't find anyone around here with reasonable prices for what the car was. And NEVER NEVER NEVER buy something without getting it checked out!!!!! I ended up buying from a private seller.

Most all these small places will lay you out to dry...if you let them. Do your research on the car, thats the key.

You act like they built the car, did they? How can you blame someone for circumstances beyond their control?

I hear the same about Magic Ride (well, the guy that owns it) and have heard good thing about Sweeneys and Lee Birchfield. All these places are going to be higher than KBB, because they do in-house financing.
About Bradley's, everybody knows he has "fixer-uppers" at best, but to be fair- they are priced, accordingly. Once again, for a 'buy here- pay here' lot- which is always high. But sometimes, you got to do - what you got to do.
Any of these places, you will more than likely have to do a few repairs, because they are "used cars" and most of the time, un-maintained cars. These private-owned lots do not have the pre-sale maintenance requisites required by most dealerships.
Buying from a dealership is usually the best way to go as far as mechanical quality but is almost always the most expensive option.
An individual is most always cheaper than going to a dealer of any-kind, but requires access to cash-in-hand.
As so many has posted, Good Luck and get someone to look over it- if you feel uncomfortable with a mechanical examination of the vehicle.

Look at Craigslist. There are lots of good used cars on there. And, unless your credit really sucks do NOT do a buy here pay here. Get your financing thru a credit union.
