Well let me ask the forums opinion. What if there is a man who is thinkig about running but has no low end side of lawenforcement experience. i dont mean that bad or negative towards law enforcement. this guy has a federal background but in a specialized field, has applied but never hired locally in law enforcement because of his salary h makes now and other things but none bad. he is concerned with carter county born and raised here and i have known him for 15 years. he is honest and will not choose sides nor discriminate angainst anyone. he is far and beliveves in being fair, firm, and friendly. he is education, but has a highed end background which can be converted and be useful in law enforcement. a sherriff is nothing more than an organizer and political figure. this guy has organized several crime investigations and has received several letters of accomodation from the government. his goal was to ue this and get into law enforcement and then run for sherriff but he couldnt get hired that way so he s thinkng about jumping in.

so in all, he is younger, educated, honest, hard working, fair, and has no political interest for favors. he has plenty of money so no crooked uner the table stuff and he wants to do it to help the county. he consantly praises where he is from and is proud to help his people because he is one.

What do you all think. if you have questions ask. if i can show him some support he will run but he does not want to expose his name immediately in fear he will be black balled by poltical figures or looked down upon by hometown people without being a former county officer or policeman.

Im all for him and dont even know his name.Ithought about running but dont have that kind of money I do have some experince.I my self would want to meet him and alk with him

No he is not a full time Federal. He is a fraud investigator that he Feds hire. He is a good guy. He as spent his whole career going after people who are done wrong and gtting people back money they lost. Again, the many as never worn a badge but has worked alongside law enforcement from a different angle. I spent a long time talkig with him while working a charity event. He just feels if he announces without the backing that he will not have a shot and is hoping to gain some experience. I toldhim that his experience is greater than some of the past people we have had a Sherrif. He is all about taking care of people. Thus the reason he has decided to see what people will say in backing him. He knows ow you have to go back to the roots of why the law is here and not playthe politics. Do your job work hard, be fair firm and friendly. He wants to post on here in this section to you all of his values and things and said if he can get a good ground of support he would run. He also wanted me to tell you that he is not hiding his identity for any bad reason he just knows how tihngs go sometimes in this town again he was born and raised here and he does not want to miss his chance.

I'm hoping James Parrish will come back to town and run for sheriff. One of the most honest and dependable person to ever work at ccsd. Also I think he is smart enough to straighten out the mess that is there now.
