I would just like to know how the "dad", as he calls himself, was able to go by the site the next day???? I didn't know the little boy or anyone involved, but I'am a mother, and I couldn't bring myself to drive by there at least four or five days...couldn't bare to see where that innocent child had died!...just wondering how the parents could...

This was not his son....he had been with him for a long time..Not saying anything bad...but if you look back on this thread the guy that was this little boys dad is in prison and his name is also on there.

Yes I do realize that, whether or not we reply they will still continue on with their "stories" and let's not forget their "resources" omg2- she is making sure everyone knows that she posted links to her "RESOURCES". She has lots and lots of time to make sure she researches this woman and makes sure throughout 5 of her posts in this forum that everyone knows she has links to back up what she says. I find it hilarious that when anyone says anything in particular about keeping their mouth shut they assume i'm taking up for her. I'm not taking up for her, I am basically asking you just to shut up about her past and present life. Not because it bother's me, it doesn't affect me one bit, but it does bother me that no one seems to think of the consequences that this little girl will face once she enters school. I do feel that everything in this forum is disrespectful to her (sister), Josh and the truck driver. You have been on here saying all these things about the family but you couldn't wait to at least hear about what happened when the facts came out let alone until he was buried. I don't believe a damn thing that is posted on topix, it's all hearsay and lies. If any of you know 100% anything about her "habits" and you are so concerned for the little girls well-being then don't sit and TALK about it, for God's sake report them to the police. No one twisted my arm to read this but I have a right to tell anyone what I think just like the rest of you tell the world about everyone in Elizabethton.

I've said all along, I dont know them, any of their families, any of their friends, I wasn't there, I don't personally know anyone that was there, I don't know if she was/is on drugs.

But... I think it is terrible that it was such a preventable accident.

I feel awful for the truck driver.

And I will always stand behind what I said before, if my daughter had died in such a way, any way, for that matter, I KNOW I wouldn't be up for giving tv interviews.

Sorry, but if it had been one of my kids and someone tried to interview me within a few hours of the accident or the funeral, forgive me for saying this, but the reporter would be picking themselves up off the ground.I understand they are just doing their job, but that is what I would be doing. Protecting my family from the media feeding frenzy.

It took me sooooooooooooooo long to find the links to everything (3 minutes tops!) And only because one google search brings it ALL up. There are no positives or I would have gladly posted those also.

As far as being a busy body, I just read the news just like everyone else, if this is what a busy body is, then, I'm guessing that makes you one also. I also read the stock reports, I guess that makes me a stock broker, and I like to read the comics too, so I reckon that makes me a comedian as well! And once in a while, I read the obits, So I'm an undertaker too! The other day I read about someone in the classifieds selling a bedroom set, so I'm also a interior decorator! I never knew the AMAZING talents I possessed before! Thanks!

A simple Google search done on a name resulted in arrest, mugshot and previous news story information (as recent as spring 2012). It takes mere seconds to find this. Why would anyone look up publicly available information and read past news stories? Maybe something seemed a bit odd after seeing those interviews and thinking that people might be sending money.

Exactly! Sending money to pay for a funeral that was paid for by the funeral home already. This thread does need to keep going as I feel as many people as possible need to be informed and not caught up in believing the lies of the mother, and sending money for........well we can all pretty much guess what its being used for..........and its not the paid for funeral. Our community is outraged, as am I, that those children were left in the care of such dispicable people, and as a result, one lost their life leaving only one child which needs to be taken for her own protection before its too late.

I would say "AMEN" to this a thousand time.....needs to running to show people what kind a mother she was and the little girl should be taken and placed in a home where she will be care for.
