Jimmy John, to assume that people who have dental problems don't attempt to take care of their teeth is an uneducated guess. Ask a dentist, some people have what they call "soft teeth" making their teeth more prone to cavaties and such. This has nothing to do with how often they brush, floss, etc. Do your research.

Youre right and I was in no way making fun of the ones that have genetically bad teeth. Its the ones that never brush their teeth and never make their poor innocent kids brush theirs that bothers me. Go to any elementary school and look at some of the kids teeth. Some of these so called parents need their asses beat!!!!!

Do you think teeth need cleaning every 6 months? It is getting too expensive.Does any one know any secret to have white teeth? I use to brush mine with baking soda.I had a friend in high school who put comet on a wash rag and scrubbed her teeth. It did'nt seem to hurt them.

I absolutely love Dr. Gilmer. His whole staff makes you feel at ease and he is so gentle. He soothes you as he does his work. He and his wife are the salt of the Earth. Not only is he an excellent dentist; he is a fine Christian man and an excellent role model for anyone.

Do you think you need to have your teeth clean every six months and take x-rays? I think once a year would be alright.

The prices are getting so high that people just can't afford to go.I feel so sorry for people who have to have their teeth pulled because they cant afford to have them filled. To go to a bad dentist who does bad work.Well this is awful.Shame on them.

I also had a bad experince with Dr.Keith Morley. He put a crown on for me.I had pain with it and told him it hurt when I would bite down on anything hard. And he said,"Well don't bite down on anything hard". I went back a couple times with mine also.He ended up filing down one of my top teeth so it wouldn't touch the crown.I had been going to Dr.Philip Gilmer for about 25 or 30 years, and had to switch to Morley because of the insurance. But now I will never go anywhere else but to Dr.Gilmer again.

I have had several dentists in the region. I can tell you a thing or so about Dr. Keith Morley. I wouldn't send a rabid dog to him for a cleaning. When my brother(mentally challenged) went to him for a tooth to be pulled, my brother could be heard screaming out in the parking lot. Mr. Morley (I don't believe he deserves the term DR) did not thoroughly numb my brother and his excuse was that mentally challenged individuals don't feel pain like the rest of us.
My mother took me to Dr. Morley when I was small. He pulled 4 of my teeth (I was about 8). I asked him for my teeth for the tooth fairy. He looked at me said "this is what I think about the tooth fairy" and dumped my teeth down his sink. He was and is a horribly cruel man.
As for recommendations.....
Dr. David McNeely..excellent with children
Dr. George Zorawski...excellent, gentle, and affordable..also has emergency appointments available
Dr. Armstrong..very sweet, intelligent, gentle..great office staff but hard to get an appointment

Dr.Morley sure messed me up.I would have never believed he could have been this bad.I wish I had never heard of him.He messed two teeth up for me.The first one had a way too big crown that I made him do over and now its way too small. This was probably done on purpose. The second tooth,a normal filling turned into a root canal and crown and the tooth is still messed up.I will wind up losing it.I throwed about 4000.00 down the drain.I wish I had of took him to court. He will stand before God one day and I hope he is told how bad he treated some of his patients.

Dr.Morley and his wife now really done a number on his first wife.Dr Morley ought to know that a younger woman was probably just after his money. What in the world was he thinking. They say his first wife was a good woman.Dr Morley has really damaged his name.A lot of people knows he was on the boat also. You cant keep that stuff hidden.I am surprised any one would want to give him their business.

Don't go to Dr Zorawski by Bonnie and Kate! He is horrible. I went there a few times and hated it. I was getting some veneers done and he put me on the gas to help numb me. He warned me that if I get to much gas that I may start to feel nausea and when this happens to let him know. Well it happened and I started to feel sick and tried to tell him but he said I would be ok, well I ended up throwing up all over him. If that wasn't bad enough I paid my bill up front in full received a receipt. About 2 weeks later I received a bill from his office so when I called them about it, there was a mistake in their system (which I understand happens sometimes) so they "fixed" it. Well about a month or so later I get a letter from a collection agency saying I still owed them. So I went down there showing them my receipt that my bill was paid in full the day of the work and it was suppose to have been fixed. It was a lot of hassle to get everything straightened out. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Well the good thing about Zorawski is this--at least he gets you in when you've got a toothache or whatever. And he's cheaper. I've had toothaches before and called every dentist in town needing an immediate appointment-only to be told they couldn't get me in for at least a week to a month! You may have to wait longer at his office but at least he tries to help as many people as he can-and he's a very gentle dentist. I'll keep going to him.
