The worse school board we have ever had. I HONESTLY think they all need to go. All of them should be ashamed of themselves. They were all a pure embarassment at this years EHS Graduation, absolutely loaded with politics.

Matt Cooter took the stage to introduce his brother (sick)as guest speaker,Matt rambled on and on about his brothers accomplishments, after a lengthy introdution his brother took the stage and continued with what appeared to be no more than bragging on Matt and their famliy and "Look at Me" you don't motivate young people by bragging on oneself.

Why was someone not selected as guest speaker that the Graduates love and respect, such as Debbie Gouge?

I thought Colonel Cooter had a great graduation speech. He talked about hard work and how it will get you places and how for him it all started in high school. Now, the guy has a very distinguished military career and commands three intelligence squadrons (google). I know I'll be accused of being a relative, but honestly I didn't know him from Adam until he gave the speech. Instead of condemning the speech and the man, I would think the man would be applauded for what he has accomplished and the fact that he is a hometown guy. But, what do I know...

Nothing Salty other than being a Cooterite homeboy.
The Col. is okay. Matt is a door-Matt for Edwin the Not so Great. Matt has spent too much time at high altitudes.....

I don't usually post but I can tell you a thing or two about Alexander...he doesn't keep his word and he doesn't have the student's best interests at heart. This I have seen first hand. In my opinion, he is worthless.

Col. Cooter was never about hard work in high school I was there and new him. He was arrogant then as he is now. I do not dislike the Cooter boys i always liked them. They are both good at playing politics they get that from there dad. Mark gets his stand offishness if that is a word from his mom, Matt is some what more personable. Both good at politics, to get where Col. Cooter is in the military you have to be good at politics. He has accomplished a lot and it is something to be proud of:

Edwin Alexander will go down with the ship. He's so vain he thinks he IS the school system. He will need to be drug kicking and screaming out of his office, and that won't happen as there isnt anyone with balls enough to do it. So Ed will leave only when Ed decides its time. 3-5 more years of his tyranny. Just the way it is. And the school system continues in turmoil......

Mr Alexander was a good principal but has shown he is not a good director. He doesnt see the big picture. He has a very narrow window he sees the world through. Those close to him know how tight he is wrapped. A ticking timebomb. I look for him to combust anytime now.....

Its time for Edwin to retire. Nothing lasts forever.
The school system will survive and in time thrive without him

"...never about hard work..." That's a funny statement, given the fact that Col Cooter was a EHS Valedictorian for his class. When I went to high school that was a big deal and required a great deal of hard work to accomplish. As for his being arrogant, I think his shyness is misinterpretted as being stand-offish or arrogant. He is a very talented man, but if you got to know him, you would soon find that Col Cooter doesn't believe so. Definitely some jealousy on this trail for those who have worked hard for their country and communities.

I don't think Ed deserves the position. He was am awesome teacher. When he was principal started hearing some swaying from his character. I think he was influenced to much when he moved up the chain. I am disappointed in the way he has turned out. I always looked up to him and thought he was a fair and honest person that stood up for right and wrong. I don't see that in him anymore. Its more what am I getting out of this and what buddies can I bring along.
