Anyone know if there's any good HCG weight loss clinics in Elizabethton? I'm looking for a reputable place that used the shots (as opposed to liquid drops). Never tried this before but willing to try it out. Thanks!

I went to Dr Tom Rogers at Performance Medicine, in Johnson City. He used injections, along with phentermine. You only eat 500 calories per day, and you get VERY hungry. I had hair loss after the first round Some clinics say you lose one pound per day, but that is not realistic. I stuck right with the plan, and lost 15 pounds. When you start back eating, even watching it, you gain it back. I have gained back 10 pounds. I am now going to Weight Watcher's which is far healthier, and you don't put your body into starvation mode. I do not recommend going anywhere for HCG. If you can eat as little as 500 calories per day, you don't need HCG as you would lose anyway.

HCG is so not safe for you, nor is it realistic. I found a supplement that has no side effects and doesn't demand a crazy diet from you to see results. If you want to know more information email me [email protected] or check out this link http://feelbetterbebetter.sbcspecial.com/

I don't have a decent referral for you. But I also have done this diet. Yes, you lose weight, but since you are not going to live off of 500 calories daily for the rest of your life, prepare to gain all of the weight back, if you complete the diet. Not to mention, it's pretty outside and you'll have absolutely no energy to do anything while on this diet. Oh, and watch out for the headaches.

It is a safe diet. New Image is a good place to go. They explain everything in detail. They will give you the number for the pharmacy that the get it from and you can call and ask them questions to. Your body has so much fat stored that it will release more calories in a day while you are on the diet than you would consume yourself, so 500 calories is enough.

HCG is worthless. HELLO!!!! You lose weight because you ONLY consume 500 calories a day. Just reduce your calorie intake on your own, eat healthy and exercise 30 minutes a day. A lot cheaper and it works.

ANYBODY eating only 500 calories a day is going to lose weight. And in top of that, it's very unhealthy.
The problem is most people think these diets are miracle workers, unless you make a lifestyle change, as soon as you stop taking the pills, shots, liquid, or eating only certai things, you WILL gain the weight back, and most likely even more.

You MAY have been told this diet is safe, but it is NOT! These clinics are in it for the money. That is why so many of these clinics have "sprung" up everywhere. Weight Watchers is a far better choice, and you will not be starved & lifeless. You absolutely do not get enough calories with HCG, and you don't feel like doing anything. It is not a permanent fix, by any means, just very temporary, and you cannot continue to live eating only 500 calories. In my opinion, this is the very worst diet that has hit the market. Overweight people are very gullible, and will buy into anything they see as a "quik fix". I did two rounds of HCG before I knew all the facts, stayed starved all the time, no energy for anything, and when I stopped the weight came back VERY quickly. I am now a Lifetime Member of Weight Watcher's, eat a sensible diet, and exercise 3 times a week. Believe me, you will feel better eating a variety of food and a sensible number of calories. You can maintain your weight on Weight Watchers, and feel good. The cost of Weight Watchers is very low, compared to HCG.

I tried it but only made it six days...I did lose 12 lbs but most of that of course is just water weight. I had severe withdrawal headaches days 2-4 and was so miserable and had such a lack of energy that I didn't make it past day 6. I would agree with the other posters that said it is unhealthy as nobody could lead a healthy lifestyle on that small amount of food.
