They put my husband in TCC on Friday the 6th of August for refusing to go clean up the streets of Newark. He would of gone, but, he is in school for his GED, and would not be able to go any more. Also, he is in a drug program, and where he would of had to clean up the streets, is where he went to get his drugs, and he didn't want to mess up his recovery. It would be like putting candy in front of a child and telling him no you can't have it. Now it is the 12th of August, and he still does not have his property, which was supposed to be brought to him on the 9th. He cannot read his Bible, nor look at his TV. This is not right. What is the reason for not bringing his property to him???? Here someone is trying to do good, and they are being plain mean to him for no reason, other than to be spitful. Officer Chatman please bring him his property.

My fiance is about to get transferred to NSP from Craf....we were to shocked he was in county on a probation violation....he didnt report for a cpl weeks and went out of state. He came back turned himself in & got 3 yrs in prison for it. I get what he did was wrong but wow was the judge making an example out of him. My question is can anyone give me any advice/information I know nothing about the prison system as ive never needed to....know I do. From what I hear this is a really bad prison & I can't understand why he went to such a bad place when he can be paroled in 4 months w time served. Any info/advice is helpful cuz I dont know how any of this works...do you have to wait before your allowed calls/letters/visits///how does all that work?

Thanks so much

Hey . My brother is currently in NSP. It is a horrible place but time can be served without any issues. It is possible. I will pray for him.
