Democrats for Something or Other...

OK. I lied. But hey, I figured with all the bull droppings going around, one little baby bull poop dingleberry from me wouldn’t be so bad. Besides, these Democrats for Change really need HELP. I must say I was impressed with that intelligent human ElizabethResident’s posts. It’s nice to see there are intelligent humans in Elizabeth, Democrat or Republican. I’m sure there’s many, many more, not only those that don’t know, and are easily fooled, like some would like to believe and count on.
Now I’m really worried about those Democrats for Change. Not about them winning, no. But about their Identity Crisis. It seems they don’t know what to be or who they really are. I mean, take Marlene, Lester, and Carlos, for example. Marlene ran for Union County Freeholder in 2005. Both Marlene and Lester ran for State Assembly in 2007. Marlene and Carlos ran for Union County Freeholder in 2008. Now they’re running for Elizabeth City Council. I guess they’re just so desperate to help citizens, they’re willing to take any public office position they can. But they really should stick to one office or another, because one doesn’t know whether they want to help the county, or the 4th, 5th, 6th wards, you know?
Here’s some more confusion from the Democrats for Republicans clan:
BOE member and political puppeteer Rafael did not support Democratic candidate Obama in the 2008 Presidential Election, he supported a Republican from Kansas, Sam Brownback, to the tune of $1,000.00.
Rafael’s buddy ‘Pastor’ Raul also leaned Republican in the 2008 Presidential Election by matching Rafael’s $1,000.00 contribution, also to Republican Sam Brownback.
Mr. Armando as recently as 2003 donated $300 to his party, the National Republican Congressional Committee.
Rafael’s not a recent convert to the Republican party. In 1994, he supported Republican Jim Ford for Congress in the amount of $700.
And Rafael’s close political friend and the owner of the ‘Democrats for Change’ campaign headquarters, Bob, is also a long-time Republican who donated a combined $1,500.00 to Republican candidate Jim Ford for Congress in 1994, and supported Republican Tom Kean Jr. over Bob Menendez in 2006.
And of course, in 2009, they held a fundraiser which raised $200,000.00 for Republican Governor Chris Christie. So it wasn’t as Rafael was recently quoted in a news article http://www.politickernj.com/max/39413/elizabe... , that “We did support the Governor [Christie] because change had to occur in Trenton. The fact is we consider ourselves true Democrats.” The fellow doesn’t even appear to know he’s a Republican, so how can we be sure what and who the ‘Democrats for Change’ on the Column B ticket really are?
My friend Jose tells me there's a saying in Spanish that goes "Dime con quien andas y te dire quien eres." Translated "Tell me with who you associate, and I'll tell you who you are." The company being kept speaks for itself. These DFCs put their money where their mouth ISN’T. So listen… You’re not Democrats. Stop using the same old recycled ‘Democrats for ….” slogan. You’re not Democrats for anything. You’re Republicans. Identity Crisis solved, now go out and campaign on the correct ticket. If you’re a Republican in Elizabeth, then you’ll be happy to know you have a choice, be careful though, you can’t be too sure of who they really are. If you’re on the fence, then lean a little to the left on this one. But…. If you’re a Democrat. Please don’t change. Vote for Column A on June 8th.
Here’s an interesting article for you. DejaVu?

Oh and lest I forget. There's a new guy Democrat running for 5th ward councilman, Ed Rodriguez. He'll probably be way out in Column C. Consider him, I hear he's a good guy.

I humbly ask the voters of the 5th Ward to VOTE LINE 7C for an opportunity to usher in new city leadership that focuses on identifying ways to inspire, empower and motivate the residents. There has been much talk recently about change but how effective is this if action is not included. None of the issues in our city that we want changed will change unless we make a real commitment to change them.
Many of the city's most troubling issues can be stabilized and improved upon if we all work together for the common goal of reclaiming our community. Improving the quality of life should be a concern of all residents. We need elected officials who not only have the vision to make it happen, but most importantly the ability to make it happen. We need a city council that recognizes that the answer does not lie within a single interest, but in our coming together.
During my campaign, I have tried to relay the message that we need a new positive attitude towards our ward to unite us all and address the numerous problems we face everyday. Positive attitude is the mind-set that makes all the difference in success for our ward. It may sound simple but it makes a world of difference because it is the most important element when it comes to ensuring success.
Unlike others, negativity and lies are not my style and you will not hear it from my campaign. That is not how I want to operate as your future councilman because it does not bring the positive change we so desperately need. I also wanted to set the record straight with all of you since my competitors are printing lies.
The mayor has never offered me a job. I am running because I feel that my personal and professional experiences have prepared me for this opportunity. The opportunity to be in a position where I can raise my voice on behalf of the people I represent; to make sure that my community's issues and concerns are heard loud and clear; and to restore faith in our local political system.
On June 8th, VOTE LINE 7C to elect Eduardo Rodriguez as the 5th Ward Councilman for a professional, hardworking, and passionate representative of the people. Thanks for your support and God Bless you.

And may the almighty bless you. You are a good and positive human, and an inspiration. Now, here I go again with this brutally honest, negative, and purifying flame:
So what choices do we have in the 5th ward? Gallman had his shot. You know what it’s like with him representing you. If you like him, fine. If not, what choice do you have? Lester? We know he’s just one of the 6 Fajardo plants. He runs for all sorts of public office, so he doesn’t care about the 5th ward, he just cares about himself, and his master, and their sinister agenda. Eduardo Rodriguez?... Based on his post above, he’s all about a positive change. He ain’t a hater like the other guys. He’s a better man than this Dragon. I would give the guy a chance to prove himself.
Hey, BTW 3rd ward, I saw yet another DaSilva flyer. I wasn’t aware he’s an ‘Independent Democrat’. You guys are so creative… You’re a Republican Independent Democrat. Yup, that’ll cover all the bases arite. Uh-huh... There’s that Identity Crisis again... I’m this to you and that to the other guy. Something for everyone… and nothing at all. Get your stories straight, or don’t even bother. I would take a tip from the news article above and… use your own mind, and stop taking advice from Devine (rhyme intended).
In the 2nd ward, Lucio,‘El Sucio’, makes the Dragon shudder. To hear the news article speak of his being a Mayoral hopeful is sheer lunacy. The guy took the exam to become principal three times… Doh... He purchased his position, and wasted no time in abusing it by being nasty in his office. That the BOE covered it up is another Pandora’s box altogether, and says alot. Nothing is sacred. What kind of respect do you think he’ll have for the taxpayers or anything else? Huh??? If you elect him, you’re either really tolerant, or really stupid. The guy hasn’t even proven himself, and he proves to be untrustworthy. Somebody better get on the horn in the 2nd ward and ride out like Paul Revere… Nelson.
Nice vid justiceforelizabeth, every picture tells a story don’t it?
