Governor Christie didn't start the yelling match, (and despite the fact that the predominantly black and Hispanic crowd, the local police), wanted him to throw the man out who was so rudely yelling at the him, he refused to do so.

He's making inroads to usual Democratic neighborhoods because many realize his common sense make sense. Imagine someone saying we need to do more for the Public Schools when MILLIONS have been pumped into Paterson from the State for years and without COMMON SENSE spending plans. Imagine one kid getting up and saying they don't have a book for class!!!With the $$$$ they get they should have the Cadillac version of everything. Where oh where has the money gone? Look at the old funeral home property at Hazel and Marshall Street. It was a big waste. New buildings don't make for good education. Leadership does!

The Governor did say that bad decisions were probably being made by the leadership regarding the monies that are received by the State for Paterson Public Schools,(or something along that line).

more I hear what he has to say the more I think he's the best thing to happen to NJ. We will be a better place because of him. Too bad Governor is limited to two terms.

Who knows? I never paid much attention to politics until recent years--I just think that Gov. Christie did well at yesterday's town hall meeting.
