Hey jason, take it easy on the kid. I'm sure you're not a perfect languist yourself.
Besides, I completely agree with him. I remember being 16, lots to do and the really fun stuff wasn't until after dark. By the time i was 13 i was practically taking care of myself. I just guess some parents don't know how to stop babying their kids and stop being such control freaks.
Honestly, as long as they're home in time to get enough sleep to make it through school the next day I'm completely cool with it..
Actually you're right, I was being quite an ass. thanks for pointing it out in a nice way.

Sorry kid, that curfew does suck. They should reconsider especially if you're 16-17 and not just hanging out in a parking lot causing trouble.

relax. all of you parents should think back to your childhood. I'm sure you all did things your parents wouldn't approve of. Let us, kids, live our own lives. The last thing we need is Getting the law into this. Its stupid. i mean really,$1,000 for staying out late? That is way to over the top. Half of us aren't even doing anything wrong.

Just because there are a few thugs and dumbass kids, doesn't mean those responsible enough to be out past midnight shouldn't be allowed to. And as for what we would be doing out that late in the first place; for instance, tonight. I'm going to see Pineapple Express with my friends at midnight. Not going to drive drunk, smoke weed downtown. Nothing of the sort. I understand the need for the trouble-makers to be indoors at certain times, but why should Douglas County put a law on everyone? Punish the innocent with the guilty? I don't think so. Might be a childish view to you, but it's my opinion and I am completely entitled to it.

If the 15 year old kid is right and there will be $1,000 fines, it's a good way to grow the county budget.
