You are talking to a brick wall. I tried to explain to him how foreign made assault rifles are still imported legally and even explained how the compliance works for modifications with the ATF (Section 922(r)) and he just posted links to old stories about Bush signing into law the banned importation of foreign made assault rifles. I don't believe he was even familiar with the term "sporterized" and he is in here trying to argue a gun debate. At least these people wanting to ban guns could educate themselves so they could put up a better argument.

Ironic that a rightie would call me out on facts;

http://politix.topix.com/homepage/4699-report...

I've never had to give a press conference saying I lied about someone. I've never had to write a retraction article for ruining someone's reputation based on false allegations. I've never been responsible for playing political paddy-cake to block the hiring of a Defense Secretary during wartime while kids die on foriegn soil.

Nor would I ever support anyone who does those things. Therefore I reckon I got my sh!t straight enuff.

Gun gnutters are cowards, the only people who have to fear them are the women who are married to them.

I guess they have a new excuse now... there's a burglar behind the bathroom door...

Apparently, dipsh!t, jizzum rots the brain or you would know that republics can be democracy, that the terms are not mutually exclusive.

It's something they teach in Middle School.

Wipe your chin, dear.

What a shame you have a reading comprehension of someone in the seventh grade.

PS: The majority of Americans- in this, America, a democracy- are tried of the tiny-dicked minorities demanding special rights. We have a right to be safe from idiots like yourself who insist you need assault weapons to go hunting.

We are a Republic with democratic processes… When you reach the 6thgrade you should learn this, if you’re in public school, maybe not.
The Bill of Rights is clear, and if you would like to impose an amendment, be my guest, but I would wager you haven’t a clue where to start…

The Second Amendment of the US Constitution. Americans are GAURUNTEED the right to bare arms.

There is NOTHING you can do to change that with an Amendment to the Constitution. You haven’t a chance.

STFU.

You don't know what you are talking about.

Cuba has 'democratic processes' and so did the USSR.

The USA is a democratic federal constitutional republic, I don't need your uninformed, high school drop out opinion, especially since it seems you lack the ability to move any further in your education.

Get your GED and get back to me.

The first question will be: Is the USA a democracy?

We are NOT a democracy because the Founding Fathers didn't like democracies and stated that quite clearly. They called a democracy a mobocracy.

"Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security, or the rights of property; and have, in general, been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths."
James Madison

"Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide."
John Adams

"A democracy is a volcano which conceals the fiery materials of its own destruction. These will produce an eruption and carry desolation in their way. The known propensity of a democracy is to licentiousness which the ambitious call, and ignorant believe to be liberty."
Fisher Ames, Author of the House Language for the First Amendment

"We have seen the tumult of democracy terminate,as [it has] everywhere terminated, in despotism. Democracy! savage and wild. Thou who wouldst bring down the virtuous and wise to thy level of folly and guilt.
Gouverneur Morris, Signer and Penman of the US Constitution

"The experience of all former ages had shown that of all human governments, democracy was the most unstable, fluctuating and short-lived."
John Quincy Adams

"A simple democracy is one of the greatest of evils."
Benjamin Rush, Signer of the Declaration

"In democracy there are commonly tumults and disorders.... Therefore a pure democracy is generally a very bad government. It is often the most tyrannical government on earth."
Noah Webster

"Pure democracy cannot subsist long nor be carried far into the departments of state, it is very subject to caprice and the madness of popular rage."
John Witherspoon, Signer of the Declaration of Independence

"It may generally be remarked that the more a government resembles a pure democracy the more they abound with disorder and confusion."
Zephaniah Swift, Author of America's First Legal Text

Democracy, donglicker.

Wipe you chin.

If only you had spent time in history class instead of relieving the sexual frustration of high school jocks in bath room stalls, you might have learned something above governments.
