Sigh. My point in sharing with my friend that the Bible is written in three languages (still spoken today) is to set aside the misunderstanding that the Bible's truth is translated over and over and over.

The Bible is the History. His story. The winner.

I apologize, I am not trying to be difficult or argue the history of the stories in the Bible. I am a history buff, and have studied quite a bit on many of the stories told in the Bible and many that weren`t deemed worthy by the Catholic church, when they first compiled the Bible.

I`m sorry if you thought i was.

The point is… How many times is the Bible translated from its original language to, let’s say, English?
ONCE.
The “so many translations the Bible can’t be true” argument is false.

We do know of many miss-translation from that one time.

The 14 books of the Apocrypha were included in the original King James Bible for 274 years until being removed in 1885 A.D

“Over 2,000 years old.” Meaning what? The old testament (which is the same God that is in the new) is even older than that… The Bible has been used by archeologists worldwide and still providing evidence of civilizations listed and told. The Bible, you will find, is historical and accurate.
Right, by using science they don't believe in. How do these archaeologist date a dig site?

So glad you find it interesting… And that you present a website that presents errors, and since you posted it why don’t you share the ramifications of such errors… so therefore what? AND then share how that makes the Bible untrue…

I don't live on a 6000 year old planet like you do. How can you believe in the dates of any archaeologist dig site using science that says the earth is billions of years old.

What do you think the ramifications are of Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary not belie a virgin but a young woman that had sex with a normal human male got pregnant had a kid just like everyone else?

The bible is a collection of stories like any novel filled with some truths some fiction and some embellishment. It is NOT a history book but lessons from god on how to live a good clean life the way god wants.

What of the accuracy of historical records found in the Quran?

You are so good at pulling a single verse out of context from the bible, where in the Bible does it say the earth is 6000 years old?
You neglected to answer my first question… Science WHO doesn’t believe in?

So no answer…. If the Bible is NOT a history book then why do archeologists around the world use it as a reference?

“What of the accuracy of historical records found in the Quran?” What of it?
