Pleasant Hope chamber works to draw members

Pleasant Hope -- The newly formed Pleasant Hope Chamber of Commerce has been approved as a tax- exempt nonprofit organization and is busy recruiting members.

I think it's a good idea to have a chamber of commerce in any town. We have several small business' in town. I think that Pleasant Hope is a beautiful place to live. Good luck to the chamber!

Each year on Independence Holiday weekend, the Pomme de Terre Lake Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Fireworks Over The Water at Lake Pomme de Terre. We invite everyone to come to this free spectacular event on Saturday, July 5, 2008. This year we added two attractions;
#1. Bogg's Dogs Show at 5:30 PM
#2. GT Spoke Concert at 7:00 PM
#3. Fireworks Over The Water after dusk.

From Carson's Corner, west on 254 Highway to Lake Pomme de Terre Dam.
At dam tower, 1 block north to C.O.E. shelter house.
#3. Various viewing locations available around the Lake.
