Ok, I see most of these as pretty reasonable. The insurance one might be tough, but I can see how they would want this. So what's so unreasonable about having rules?

They conveniently left Trails End off their lodging list. If you stay with Trails End, you're not welcome to ride Brimstone.

Can you legally tell people where they can and can't stay? Seems like that could be actionable if enforced.

It's fishy to say the least and probably illegal. Good legal counsel is needed. People have rights too, even if you're not a million dollar company-or on their payroll!!!!

I didn't see any where that said if you don't stay at one of these places you will be banned from riding. I just wouldn't stay at grand vista. You will get bed bugs trust me.

Sorry, but I didn't read anything too unreasonable. I hate it too that some of my rights as an ATV rider in the woods where I was born and raised are limited, but then, if it wasn't for Brimstone I would be trespassing on private property when I ride these mountains.
Suck it up people and abide by the Rules and you will be fine. It's always those few (knuckleheads) who like to "do as they please" that are making it hard on the rest of us.
I support Brimstone in this.

Do you even ride Brimstone?? Have you ever stayed with Trails End? Trying to push one lodging area out of business is good in what way? I'm sure Trails End hasn't hurt Brimstone at all by renting camp sites and cabins so WHY do something so completely childish? If the only story you're getting is from mayor Potter, then someone needs to enlighten you on the things that have REALLY happened.

there are other places to ride if you can't afford the 15 dollar yearly pass to ride brimstone . sounds to me like a bunch of babies with nothing to do but whine and cry all the time . Just like scott county people to whine and cry if everything is not given to them .

someone is trying to do something here in scott county and people are to backwards and ignorant to see it . You have stars coming to sing here when was the last time someone brought that to scott county . there are only a dozen other mountains to ride on if you don't like a little organized entertainment.

So its ok for brimstone to single out their biggest competition as far as lodging goes,Just to try and put another local company out of business?

I would suggest all you people go to southernsxsriders.net on their forum and get a little insight on how "out of towners" feel about this new policy. What kind of business dont care about that many people never coming to scott co again and spending their money at our gas stations, grocery stores, and restaurants. You would think that us "locals" would realize what a big deal this is and stand behind trails end.

Oh "boohoo", now who's whining and crying? This isn't about money or stars, it's about people being fed up! It's about standing up for what is right! It's about the riders right to chose where to lodge and spend their money! You may not mind people stomping all over your rights but obviously LOTS of others do!
