Single-gender public schooling is a form of school segregation that will run Kershaw County afoul of the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment and the Federal Civil Rights Act of 1964. The woman in one of the "State" news articles has already stated that the purpose is to educate students differently according to their sex, which constitutes separate and unequal public education right from the git-go.

Though racial discrimination wasn't mentioned, it can easily be coupled as an underlying motive for sexual segregation in public education. It has federal lawsuit written all over it.

Sexual desegregation of public schools took place after the women's suffrage movement ended in 1920 with the 19th amendment to the US Constitution.

Kershaw County would be sued and fined for more money than the entire county is worth. The fines for these sorts of cases can run into the hundreds of millions of dollars on top of what the county would be paying for an army of lawyers, not to mention court-ordered settlement payments to students whose rights to education equality has been damaged by the county's actions.

The only way Kershaw County could pay for all of this would be to tax property owners out of their homes.

In the 60s there was a famous saying that perhaps is unknown to Kershaw County: "Judge, Judge, here comes the Judge"!
