Paid 29,000 for my house in 1975 at 10% interest tax was under 450 have remodeled and added about 450 sq feet about 33% increase my tax is now just under 3000 and that is with a senior freeze , now the population is way up from them so is improved property my tax should be less today than then if you figure tax income on sq ft, in other words county was collecting 25 cents a square foot back then now they are getting about 85 cents on 250% more square footage through out the county, and if I call the law for what I believe is a murder in progress 45 min wait 1 1/2 hours other wise, well and septic so no service but one hell of a service tax bill thinking of leaving state soon
