Those dump trucks are operated by many drivers who own their truck and maintain them. Company owned trucks are better taken care of because they are considered rolling billboards and have much more to lose the can't just flee back to their home country when things get bad.

You're right....I shouldn't have said anything. I wasn't there to know what really happened. I regret my comment.
That's great that you "regret" your comment, but you still said it. And I was earlier referring to "Tori's" comment, which had no correlation to the accident. She was writing that comment as if it were my mother's fault for the accident BECAUSE of my uncles so-called past. He was actually not at fault, which that lady has no idea what she was talking about. Her comment was unnessesary, and ignorant. My mother DOES know how to drive, and instead of running straight into the semi, she saw an opening to the left. Little did she know that a small car was coming around the semi. It wasn't her fault.

I was waiting for somebody to bring this up. Somebody who died has a Spanish surname and you assume him to be an "illegal alien." Be careful when you go to bed tonight, "kat", a scary Illegal Alien might be under your bed and jump at you in the middle of the night. Be afraid!

My condolences to the family.

Hugh,
I'm not at all afraid of illegals, it's just all too common that they're involved in fatal accidents. I didn't assume the person with the Spanish surname was illegal. I was just questioning whether he was such. It's also common knowledge that many construction workers are undocumented so it's not unreasonable that I would question the immigration status of the dump truck driver.
It's as unfair for you to assume that just because I question someone's immigration status I'm automatically afraid of them, as it would be unfair that I would assume that a person with a Spanish surname is indeed illegal.

Not to mention they then disappear with no consequences. I know of a specific instance in Florida where the guy basically got away with murder because he just went back to mexico.

wat does it matter if the driver of either automobiles were illegal aliens, does that mean that the lady who killed the man has a good reason why to be set free of any charges being filed against her. are you an idiot or something?
