Am I dancing with myself or is everyone here willing to begin/start a group as the "Minute Men" to thwart the efforts of useless energy of Mexicans, Central Americans and Chinese swarming our borders...stand-up you weak *zz Americans, stop eating and becoming obese and make sense of what is happening to our Great country...
No kidding, thanks for your vigilance.

This is from a Hispanic who lives in Texas. He's had a column in the Fort Worth Star Telegram and as you can see, expresses himself very well.

ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL

I can almost assure you that everyone who is a true American was sickened when you saw multitudes of protesters carrying Mexican flags protesting the new Immigration Reform Bill in the Senate. This display of Mexican flags should give you a heads up on where these protesters allegiance lies their hearts are in Mexico and their bellies are in the United States. As an American of Mexican Heritage I want to set the record straight, American Hispanics are not all thrilled with illegal immigration. I, for more than 20 years, tried desperately to bring this national debacle to the attention of the American people. I had the privilege of writing for several newspapers, appeared on national and local TV and radio programs, and was asked by many political groups to address this serious problem affecting my former community (north Fort Worth), city, state, and our country. Many will question how I can speak on this subject with some authority. My simple answer is: I lived with the problem! Trust me, it was no picnic. Never in my life (I'm 68) had I witnessed the lawlessness, the deterioration of my community, and the black market criminal underground activities attributed to the influx of illegal immigrants. To add injury to insult, politicians soon caved in to the many demands of illegal immigrants. Notably: bilingual education, bilingual ballots, welfare aid, free medical care, etc. Through all this national disgrace allowed by our politicians, have you all noticed that no one ever blames the useless, corrupt, and disgraceful government of Mexico? In contrast, they lambaste and criticize our country. How does that grab you? When I addressed the dangers of our porous border between Mexico and the United States, and the lax security of our nation, no one paid attention. As I observed the situation, the problem was perceived to be between American Hispanic communities and illegal immigrants. White Americans it seemed assumed that the problem was not theirs to deal with. In other words they were, asleep at the wheel. However, 9-11 soon woke them up. Lets be honest with each other here, white Americans vote in far larger numbers than Hispanics do. And most politicians (Democrats and Republicans) in our city, state, and federal governments are white. Thus, who is more suited to fix this national disaster? I'm sure most of you know what the answer is. In summation, I'm pleading with white American voters to join me in sending our politicians (Democrats and Republicans) a strong message that we will not tolerate illegal immigrants telling us how to make government policy that will make it easier for them to break our laws. Hope you will join me in this endeavor in our upcoming elections.

And, another thing....this country never could have been formed if we expected everyone who was born here to take the nationality of their immigrant parents. WTF? Do you have any idea about the history of this country? Do you really think that only 3rd generation Americans actually have a right to be here?
You amaze me with your ignorance.
Invasion and immigration are 2 very different things. You'd be wise to know the difference historically, geographically, culturaly and especially numerically. The numerical part is mind blowing if you took the time to compare.

http://www.youtube.com/watch... It's a funny thing, Mexico treats illegal immigrants with the harshest of treatment, but then they expect their emigrants to be accepted by the United States. Illegal immigrants are economically beneficial in some aspects, but they are downgrading our society, mostly by our own fault. Our liberal society wants to take a lofty moral standpoint so they can feel good about helping the poor immigrant at the expense of everyone else. Liberals have no common sense and their expectations have ruined us

Wow - I guess we should be happy that finally
one Mexican National (ILLEGAL) was actually
sentenced by a Court (Joke or not) in New
Mexico - but some how I know that the liberals
will work out something to deport him instead
of making him serve anytime.

I think we should take him to Juarez put one of
the xxxx number of cartels signs on him and
let them take care of business.

If there was no illegal employement, there would have been no illegal. They are not directly responsible, but they so share some of the burden of guilt. So should anybody who supports illegals in OUR, again OUR country.

The biggest problem with illegals is they serve a purpose for some people and are dispized by others. I think illegals should be sent back to gain citizenship legally. There should be no birth right citizenship if at least one of the parents isn't a legal U.S. citizen. If you are a naturalized citizen you should have to work for a set minimum amount of time before you can claim assistance for yourself. The problem is "mexicans" or illegals all get grouped together. Just because your are brown and speak spanish doesn't mean you are a illegal or live off welfare. this is where the racism card gets played because to many people generalize the group by appearance. The fact is if you are a hispanic, chinese, canadian, german or whatever and you are here legally and work you should not have to put up the hate spewed from people mouths to you. Dont judge till you have the facts. After you have the facts deport away. The problem begins here in the U.S. If our goverment employees did there jobs and and verified ss numbers were proper and legal and drivers license numbers were real they could eliminate the problem at its source. I have had to fill out paper work for everyjob I have applied for to verify my identity. with the patriot act the requirements to simply open a bank account are almost painful as a legal citizen. So tell me how can all the illegals come here take jobs buy cars houses and stuff without anyone knowing they are illegal. someone has to be dropping the ball.

Bah... I'm in favor of the death penalty for murder.

If you kill someone while you are drunk then you should get the death penalty. I don't care who you are or where you are from; YOUR actions directly caused the death of people therefore your life is forfeit.

What does: "A Mexican National who has lived in the Santa Fe area for 12 years..." mean? That he lived in Santa Fe longer than his sentence? Lived there illegally? Lived there legally? Worked there? Given the horrible circumstances of the story, it was a strange way to start the story. Maybe just me, but....
