Des Moines man charged with killing wife

A man has been charged with killing his wife and setting the couple's Eldora home on fire, authorities said.

Praise God for Justice about to be served. I miss my cousin Bredna very much. We knew it was only a matter of time before the truth would be discovered. May she finally rest in peace.

Yes...let's all praise God that justice will be served.
What a tragedy that a wonderful person like Brenda was taken away from all her loved ones in this manner. We do want justice to be rendered. But...for any of us to jump to conclusion as to what justice is at this early stage would certainly not be justice, would it now? Are we not all considered innocent until proven guilty? How can any one of us know beyond a reasonable doubt that Jess is guilty? Is it time to start praising God at this early stage? Maybe we would be better served to wait until a verdict is rendered before we start putting the rope around anyones neck. After such a terrible tragedy of losing Brenda, an even worse tragedy would be to convict the wrong person, even if only in our hearts. I think it just may be a bit early to jump to conclusions at this early stage. We must manage our emotions and reserve our judgement for a while to come.
