Apparently, many of your have no integrity or honor. If you are such heros yourself, please post your name so we shall know your shame.
To SPC Simpson's mother and father: Thank you for your son's service in the United States Army. It is a calling, just like a teacher or preacher, God calls you to serve. So few men and women have the dignity and honor required to raise their right hand and swear before God to protect this country and its citizens against enemies, both foreign and domestic. Your son, though he may have died in a war I do not agree on, he died, fighting to protect the shameful individuals who call you and him names and try to dishonor and his fellow service members.
May God protect you and speed your hearts healing and may your son walk in peace as he watches over us and he team mates in Iraq.
Continue to build on his integrity and make this scholarship a great success.

To the Simpson family:
I am so sorry about the loss of your son. I appreciate the sacrifice that you and he made more than you could ever know. Despite what some ungrateful people may say, the sacrifice that all of our servicemen make does NOT go unnoticed by the majority of us.
I went through the scholarship/college selection process 2 years ago and I know firsthand that it is VERY difficult to find scholarships unless you are a minority, financially challenged, or have stellar grades. Your idea for a scholarship for those who aren't straight A students is a wonderful idea and I wish you all of the luck in the world in setting it up.
