why we should not let village allow the annexation of farm land to the town

The village trustee's once again have made a mistake.
They are taking on the expense of maintaining " detention Ponds" that are not done correctly and or working properly.
The farmer in question violated village building code and was allowed to "negotiate" his way out for the village to allow the anexation of his land to the town. There is more to this story and the residents of the village need to vote today NO until the proper enviromental and storm water studies can be done. In the questionalbe wisdom of the village trustee's they let a performance bond run out, and yet still voted to go ahead with the annexation but agreed to maintain the faulty drainage system.
