"It is expected to generate $28 million dollars a year. Seventeen new teachers were added, some are new positions"

17 new teachers and it is costing taxpayers $28,000,000.00. I'd like to be one of those teachers.

New teachers are needed but we also need to get teachers pay not only to what it was but to bring it up to what it should be (up date it). When you teach you do not do it for the money, after all there are so many other professions that pay much more! Just remember teachers need to make a living, there are so many teachers that have to have a 2nd job! Teachers are educators, doctors, counselors, janitors, buyers, technologist, innovators, and anything else you can add to this list! Let's face it without teachers we would not have a president in the US and yet teachers get one of the lowest pays. So I say shame on who? Please be sure to give teachers a real raise and maybe a bonus. A happy teacher makes fa happy smart student and smart students make a better tomorrow for all!

Hey, I'm not getting enough pay for what I do. I'd like the taxpayers to pay an additional `1% in sales tax so that I can live better.

When I go places and young adults cant' even make change with out a calculator, or they tell me they can't write cursive, and most of them can't tell you who the vice President is, we shouldn't waste any more money on education, this has been tracked many times where we keep throwing money in to education and the students keep getting worse.

Pay the educators based on the job they do, not how many years they have sat behind their desk and taught the children nothing. I don't know about how the other school systems are but around here WAY too much of our tax dollars are spent on "administrators" who do nothing and make $150k plus a year, and countless millions are spent to try and buy a winning football team. While special needs students are stuck in an 80 year old building without the resources they need. Even now I still remember most of the teachers I had in school, some were really good and to this day I still have lots of respect for them. And some would have been better suited as janitors.
