What happened to the old site on Wolf Bay? I thought that they were going to re-build there. I know that they have temporally located in Orange Beach but I also heard that because of the high rent they have to pay that their prices are keeping customers away.

I understand but, for us in Foley, their new location will be much closer. I will miss looking out over Wolf Bay from their pier however.

Well, 1st they swore that they were going to rebuild on their old lot at Wolf Bay. Then they said that they would only rent the place in Orange Beach until their building was finished and I heard that lots of their old customers stopped going to the Orange Beach location because the prices were sky-high. Then they said that they were going to open at the old pecan factory in Foley as their new location and so far I haven't seen anything going on there either.

"Council members agreed to memorialize a $1 million loan in connection with the Wolf Bay Lodge project going in at the old Wilson Pecan location."

Does anyone know what this means?

Do you mean to tell me that the Foley City Council agreed to a $1 million loan to Wolf Bay Lodge for re-locating? If so, this is outrageous.

How do you get to the old wolf bay lodge?
And what road do you turn on?

Most locals want to know how not to get to Wolf Bay Lodge. It is strictly a tourist trap. There are lots of better and cheaper places to eat. Stay away from this place unless you want to be taken.

Coming from Gulf Shores turn left at Lamberts Restaurant, its just a few blocks down the road on the left hand side, can't miss it. It is expensive for what you get,but not way out of line.
