THANKS !The MANY people who helped on this are hoping to make this a yearly event, not just for the Officer, but for ALL those who work so hard for so little .The metro areas have programs that help their people out when such as this happens, rural areas don't.It would be a good thing to see MORE people get involved within their communities,in a way such as this.Don't take me wrong ,but there are SOME law enforcement officers I wouldn't mind handing a pink slip too,but the good ones out number the bad ones like in any other field of public service..if a person wants a safe/protected community to live in they MUST do their part to make it so.

The local paper didn't give the event coverage ,nor did the local radio stations ,but that's because it was such a 'touchy' subject ,and many people worked hard gathering donations and funds . Joyce Rhodes and Misty Byrd of girl scout troop 8710,baked up a storm ,from noon on friday into the early morning hours !Officers wives also baked and boy can they can bake, and people from around PK Lake donated so MUCH for the auction, when it wasn't one of their officers to begin with. There were donations from as far away as South Texas business owners to business owners up to Wichita Falls ,and many in Graham itself. The bouncher was paid for by an anonoymous donor and the man who owned it gave a discount for the whole day,and Johnna Langley worked hard to find the bouncher .EVERYONE pitched in and worked their butts off for this,we had so much help from so many, and the little ones had a Tatoo table and they worked all day giving tatoos for a dollar each !I only wish the public sector could have turned out with more citizens and I wish the paper would have allowed a bit more coverage of the event, but maybe next time they will..as it can take months to set up something like this,ALL our volunteers did it in six weeks.God Bless them all...they are special people !

Daily Horoscope for December 7

Capricorn

The detail-oriented Moon in Virgo is extremely supportive and helpful, so it feels good to know that you can count on some support. You may know just where the help is coming from, but with communicative Mercury all over transformative Pluto in your sign, maybe you're being looked after by your very own guardian angel. Don't let this encourage you to take foolish risks or overstep the mark.
