No charges in triple-fatal crash in Olmsted County

No criminal or traffic-related charges will be filed from a car crash that killed three in Haverhill Township on the Saturday of Easter weekend, the Olmsted County sheriff's office has determined.

What a stupid law...

If one action and one action alone was changed, these deaths would not have occurred. Clearly, no matter whether the vehicle was traveling at 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 or 70 mph, if a tractor pulls out in front of an oncoming vehicle, it will cause a crash. Therefore, it should be claimed as the sole cause of the crash.

Keep your stupidity out there in LALA land. The law requires everyone to match the speed of the vehicle being passed before pulling out and passing. If the fellow wasn't doing 80 MPH he would have had plenty of time to react to the obstruction in the road. It is just a good thing he only killed himself and the people in his vehicle. That is the way it should always be.

Regardless of speed, tell me how anyone can avoid hitting a large tractor pulling a plow that turned right in front of a vehicle without any notice. The tractor driver pulled out in front of an incoming vehicle.
