This is ridiculous. You are now providing an excuse for the criminals because
the high school teachers didnt provide them with a moral compass? Since when did
they become their individual personal mentors?
Where are their parents? Where are their church or community leaders?
Do you think 200 years ago it was in the curriculum to teach students not to
beat, rape, potentially brain damage their classmates? When are people going ot stand
up and take responsibility for their actions? These boys/men behaved the way they did because their community/ families lets them get away with it.

At a dance on SCHOOL grounds, yes they should have been protected from predators. Yes, the security should have been doing their jobs and keeping the peace, not looking at girls butts dancing inside!

OK, I wrote the LA Daily News yesterday about my question, which I posted here two days ago:

Where has it been said in a published news report that a school employee "allegedly observed and ignored the young girl's urgent need for help"? I've been following this story closely and the only references I've seen to spectators or perpetrators were to students and boys/men from the neighborhood. I'm not saying that something like what he's saying hasn't been alleged, maybe it has, but this hasn't been reported anywhere else, has it?
I haven't gotten an answer yet, which may be because they get a lot of email, or they don't have an easy answer. If anyone can check the media and post if this is something that has been in any way reported on this case, I'd like to know. If not, I also have to wonder what the source of this rumor was, but I know may not ever find that out.
