Sorry, but I AM a local teacher who does NOT teach in CVHSD.(not Wiseburn, Lennox or Hawthorne either) My students and their parents do everything to avoid having to go to CV schools. When the alternatives to your district show up for meetings with our 8th grade parents- the cafeteria is packed.

Are all the same person! LOL!
Just a disgruntled teacher at Leuzinger trying to get back at the system for her poor performance as a teacher. You lost the elections over...you lost.
You are mistaken! By your posts, I can tell you are one of the incompetent morons that supported the fraudulent and deceitful campaign that had the new three clowns elected! How much money did TELACU and Fernandez contribute to that campaign?

i'm taking a class at scroc (medical assisting). this is the start of my future and the start on my path to becoming a forensic pathologist. this is by far the best school i have ever went to, expecially because this is training me for a better job. so i won't have to work at a fast food place or a low paying job. it's also is teaching me how to be responsible and how to present myself in the working field. some of my family has gone here and has took the same course i am taking, this is how i found out about it. i need a future and this is helping me make that happen. think about the kids, were the future not you.

Yeah, sounds like the new lady they hired to run business affairs. From what everyone says, she wouldn't know a financial statement either if it hit her in the face yet she's running the entire district's finances. Scary isn't it? She's probaby another one of the sup's puppets so it doesn't really matter if she knows her job or not.
Yes, I am an involved parent and have heard that the CBO, Tom Conellee is suffering from dementia or something and he is no good either. So not only do you have a CBO who can't do his job but they hire someone to help him that knows nothing either? What is Fernandez thinking? CV is already in trouble and having these people in charge can only make things worse.
Thats for sure

WOW....Fernandez accusing someone else of illegal governing practices and withholding financial information and HE wants more transparency???? AMAZING that is ALL the things the teachers, students and parents have been asking of HIM & CVU........Fernandez & CVU have dismissed and made excuses for our requests for the last 2 years and now he has the nerve to ask for all of these things from another instittuion?? It is all about the money, he wants to cut off more resources for our students so that he can get another raise next year. This is just another example of why we need to get rid of Fernandez and his Board of Puppets!!!!
You are so right. Just look at the board agenda that's posted online for the Dec 9th board meeting that was supposedly cancelled and you will see that his contract is up for renewal. I'm sure it includes a raise and extension of some sort. That's where part of the 1.2 SCROC money is going to, his paycheck. What a shame. And to think the parents in the community don't care or are too ignorant to know what's really going on.

CV Board Meeting today! at 5:00 p.m. District Office, Meeting highlights are the Superintendents contract were he seeks more money, an augment to his travel expenses, and the delusion to do away from SCROC, an agency that has been serving the South Bay high school districts for 50 years! Come one, come all to witness the malfeasance and negligence that is being done to thousands of students who are already disadvantaged. Fernandez and his mindless circus clowns need to be locked up and charged with the crime of stealing from children! Shame on you Ramos! Shame on you Pizano for taking money from TELACU to finance your campaign! Shame on you Molina for not educating your self on the issues and concerns of students, parents and community members! Shame on you Rojas, you drunk! Shame on you Suarez, go collect more memorabilia and sit in your office at Leuzinger! Shame on you Fernandez! You crook!

If the Centinela District secedes, Who will provide the students with vocational interests an education. Many schools are not equipped to provide students with the training that So Cal Roc has to offer. Remember, not all students are academically inclined.

CV had a Board meeting on 12/9/09 on it was to pull out of the JPA (SoCal ROC). CV does not have the resources to run a Voc. Ed. program nor do they intend to start one. They just want to give them more income that will run out in two year due to State Leg. What will they do when the SBX4 expires?

What Centinela Valley "leaders" failed to consider when deciding to take away the option of allowing their students to learn skills that qualify them for employment, is that many of their students stay in school because they are excited by their hands-on career training they receive via SCROC classes. In addition to staying in regular high school because of SCROC, many graduate from high school because they are introduced to a career that motivates them enough to finish.
The idea of easy money may be alluring, but at the price of the students? I took two great classes there and use some of the things I learned every day when I'm on a computer.

It is no secret whatsoever that the CVSD has been suffering from internal strife for several years. Now that the power struggle has intensified, they are looking for a way out and that way out is to some how magically find a way to save money at anybodys expense.

The thought here is, if we (CVSD BOARD) charge SCROC with mismanagement, then we can save money by not participating in that program and that will make us (the board) look like great school dist. managers. Of course, we (the board) must ignore the fact that SCROC is a true and tried educational system that benefits many many young people from the South Bay.

You see,,,,the object here is to save money and to get out of our responsibility to properly educate our students and to give them every possible chance to make a good life for themselves.

Yes sir, we (the board) can BS the people and convince them that SCROC has no value and then we can tell the people that we (the board) will replace SCROC with our own program,,,,,maybe in 20 years or so. That should help,,,shouldn't it????

I attend SCROC. And I love it. We have opportunities there that we wouldn't be able to have somewhere else. Money is always the start of problems.

Thank you Dear for the "shame" mea culpa, if I may add the biggest ass of all the shames; The Unions, for not understanding their constitutional civil rights to freedom of expression, freedom to petition to the authorities, by this I mean legal law enforcements City attorney, and if this one is corrupted go to the State, escalate, don't be a coward that union also share most of the blame for being selfish, they remember the word kids education when negotiating only when is to obvious.. This community is surrounded by cowards and eavesdropping. Something else The Daily Breeze is not your only avenue, Centinela's bad news don't sell. About Everything else maybe your Mexican orient of parent don't read or listen the conventional papers or radios. The so-call political active in that communities are the same few corrupted, or all retiree that don't want their pension screw any further by all this vandals, the few mexicans are for sale, since they don't have a job.
Board member Suarez has about ten (10) kid she has always been according to records all this years on PUBLIC ASSISTANCE; called welfare, wic, Food stamps, etc. Of course she is for sale, about Hugo Rojas, never had a job according to records, he is a professional pimp, a vote for sale; yesterday, today and tomorrow. The other district can not be more happy when he run for Centinela, it was only logical, here he can make a living doing what he knows best; remain ignorant and do nothing, so is Suarez...Well Union Move Your Ass!! EARN YOUR MONEY.........
