This guy should be released from the force immediately.

From what I understand, the ticket was in retaliation against the mom because she was griping about where he was parked. He said that since it was public that he could park there. It got heated, and she got ticketed.

Misuse of authority if ever there was one.

Do you people actually read what you write before you post it? A logical question to ask yourself would be, " I wonder if this is the whole story?"
I wasn't there, and I'm assuming you two weren't either but here is the kicker:
1. Is there a law that states people are not allowed to urinate in view of the public?
2. Is there a law against allowing a minor to be delinquent?
3. Did the officer have a legal/legitimate reason for being where he was?
I think there are such laws, and if so was the officer doing as the law directs him to do so? If that's yes, then shouldn't the issue of the law come into play instead of the action of the officer enforcing it? Just a simple observation from a fellow armchair quarterback.

Seriously? The kid was 3, do you think he knows the law? You don't know the answers yourself! The kid had to pee, he was outside and probably waited so long he couldn't hold it.

This is a clear case of misuse of power and the cop should be fired.

The policeman may have had an axe to grind with the family but a pathetic way to do it. My guess is that the judge will toss it because of knowledge and intent to break the law. The above poster who threw out the word delinquent needs his head examined. Also $2500 is a a bit excessive don't you think. The judge needs to advise the public servant in the matter to protect and serve and not park and wait.(Are there no donut shops in Peidmont?) Oh yea please find this clown another line of work.

I'm surprised the backward ignorant bastards didn't make em put the little boy on the Sex Offenders Registry! What a dumbass cop and dumbass town that would employ him in the first place!

To the rest of America, as you already believe, Oklahoma is in deed full of Dumb Asses! this is just the most current evidence.

Absolutely, I couldn't agree more with you, Oklahoma as well as this nation is in no way in danger of losing its share of "Dumb Asses!" There is a plethora to be had, makes me feel better now knowing I did the right thing by doing away with my dirt floors and adding indoor plumbing to my house !!

That post was obviously made by the jackboot itself, Ken Qualls, or its Momma.

If you get $2,500 for a Wizz, how much fine is there for taking a dump on a lawn?$5,000 per turd?
