Shame on Me BIGGER Shame on You

I hope all women and young girls in Rio Grande City read this! There is a bad man living among you.

I was in Rio Grande City yesterday, at a certain old store that sells tickets for a certain bus line. What I thought was a nice elderly man sold me a ticket to McAllen so that I could fly back to Dallas.

The elderly man made polite conversation a few times but I sat alone for the most part waiting for the bus to arrive.

The elderly man walked over, stood a little to close for comfort and placed his hand on my left shoulder and began asking me questions like married, kids, live where...things like that. Twice while taling to me he brushed against the side of my left breast where he was standing.

At first I thought it was an accident and sort of shifted away from him on the chair. He then grabbed my hand and commented on my nails, I began to feel uneasy and pulled my hand away. Then he reached for the gold cross on my necklace...as the bus was pulling in, and laid his hand flat on my chest touching my breasts, I promptly removed his hand and stood to grab my purse and go to the bus feeling a little embarrassed that this elderly man would do such a thing but it got a little worse!

As I bent over to pick up my purse, he reached around me and grabbed my right breast! I was horrified! I had to forcefully remove his hand and made a quick dash for the bus.

My shame is that I let this elderly man get away with this because I was to embarrassed to tell anyone. This man took advantage of a short, fat woman with large breasts because I was from out of town and he was sure he could get away with it! The more I think of it, the more shame I feel! What if he does this to a young girl that comes into his store, or other women, or God forbid, children in his family!

Girls, Ladies, no man has the right to touch you in inappropriate ways, no matter how old he is...EVER! It's just wrong! I wish I had handled it differently! But I live a long way from there and all I could think was that I wanted to get the heck out of there and come home. I should have called the police and filed sexual assault or sexual harrassment againt this man.

If you live in Rio Grande City, then you know who I am taliking about and what store it is. Please, if he has done this to you, turn him in! As I said, my shame is that I ran away.

His shame is that he took sdvantage of a stranger from out of town. He knows what he did was wrong, and he should be very ashamed of what he did.

To him I say this, "You know what you did, I know what you did and GOD knows what you did. How dare you touch a cross just to lay your hand on my breasts, you used a symbol of GOD to commit a SIN and GOD will not forget!"
