Pojoaque hit-and-run: Motions focus on drinking

Both Linda Diaz and the pedestrian she allegedly struck and killed last spring while driving on U.S. 84/285 had been drinking in the hours prior to the crash, according to court documents.

So how are the folks in Pojoaque handling the fact that they have a so-called tribal leader in their midst that struck a man down and left him to die. Not only that, she got out of her car to move his body. How can you live with someone like that in your community? You have a Tribal Governor that allows this kind of behavior to exist, but only for Linda Diaz. Where in all of that do you see justice? It wasn't his kid she ran over...so I guess it's alright that she killed someone elses child.
