Angie Sommers: Precinct 7 constable's office strives to improve...

Dear citizens of Precinct 7, Since taking office on Jan. 1, 2009, and during my first year, your constable's office has achieved the following: The uniforms were immediately changed to a Western-style brown and black.

Angie, you've done a wonderful job! We're proud of all you've accomplished!

Just days after bad press this is obviously an attempt to repair the tarnished image of the constable office. I'm surprised it's on the opinion page. People who run for office usually have to pay big bucks for the oh-look-what-I've-done political ads to be published. Oh well, congrats and keep up the good work.

Constable, why are you pounding your chest, these duties are required by legislation and why you are getting paid by the county? The El Paso Constables would not make a pimple on Harris County Constables.

I think the best Constables in the County are from the West Side that is Angie Sommers Precinct 7 and Robert White Precinct 1.

Actually Constable Sommers has every right to boast, she's done a bang up job with her precinct. She's not afraid to ask for help from other law enforcement agencies when she needs it and she's always willing to help other agencies as well. Comparing her office to Harris County Constables is not a fair comparison, as there are staffing, budgetary and organizational differences all in favor of Harris County Constables.

How the heck would you know. The Constable working 7 has beenin law enforcement for many years. She also held a supervisors position. So go back to Houston and play Cowboy and let her show you how to police a community.

Angie Sommers is one of the best constables around this town. She works well with the community and she protects everyone to the best of her abilities. "I know you" if you have a real complaint then go to the DPS rangers and file a complaint. You may not like these men but you sure the hell don't want to fight with Constable Sommers. She can and will take out down if not out.

Why should she get in bed with anyone other than her husband or twenty some odd years. She has to intimidate you as you have no brains to work with. She can take a tazer stun and still stand and punch you in the face. You are the one who belongs in Hell or purgatory which ever you decide to choose. I am sure that she can assist you in your choice. You are dumber than a spivyed mule with crossed eyes and club feet. All you are good for now is the glue works in Mexico.
