What would having UN peacekeepers do that ain't already being done to the citizens of Juarez? Accepting payoffs from the drug gangs? Already covered. Rape, can't believe Juarez needs more of that. Extortion, pretty sure that's well covered too. So what were you needing the UN for?

Meanwhile in another bout of public hypocrisy, Hillary Clinton complains about Hamid Karzai's government being corrupt, lacking transparency and violating the rule of law. Sounds to me like his government mirrors the Obama administration. Is she criticizing him or praising him?

In watching a good old western movie, the Magnificent Seven,

the lesson learned is

the CITIZENS MUST RISE AND RID THEMSELVES OF THE DEBRIS.

Till then they remain subjects... and victims

It's time the citizens do what needs doing.

It results in a greater appreciateion for the past sacrifice.

I propose a new program; take a politician to your Afganistan foxhole!

Maybe then they'd appreciate the dire need of the decision of the "commander in chief" to get off his dallying duff and get the aid request expedited.

Off on vacation while soldiers need....

An outcry from the twin plants? They are part of the problem. People are treated as disposable. Twin plants got everything they asked for in terms of abatements and breaks from the government. Now they cry about a failed government? Look in the mirror dirtbags.

I saw in tonights news some kidnappers were captured and nearly lynched by angry citizens; HOPEFULLY the fire will ignite further involvement to rid us of the scum.
