The 507th: Fort Bliss unit was ambushed 10 years ago

Mar 23, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: El Paso Times

March 23, 2003, was one of the darkest days in El Paso's history. On this day 10 years ago, the 507th Maintenance Company from Fort Bliss got lost in the Iraqi desert and stumbled into an ambush in a town called Nasiriyah.

yo yo yo who cares we should focus and stories of the times and turbulations of people on the border working hard as new americans. I would rather read of the courage it takes to go to unknown lands and make it. not some wild out of control no discipline maintenance unit that through their hands up and surrender instead of fighting to the death. they should have been tarred n feathered and never allowed to return. lazyass mechanics were probably trying to hide from the main body so they wouldnt have to work.

And you served your country how? Coward and loud mouth ignoramus. Miscommunication happens even in the best of units. Atleast they served which is probably more than you and your family ever did.

I served in a top secret brigade. I'd reveal what it is if you ever reveal where you served but I'd have to tell you in code.
