Saturday, 12-8, I was driving WEST bound on I-10, same area near Cielo Vista. Must of been around 9:30pm or so. There was an aluminum ladder lying on the highway. Good size one, too. As I recall it almost completely blocked one lane and stuck out into an adjacent lane. Don't know why, but first thought I had was it was put there deliberately. Now I read this story, and it's seems unlikely to be just coincidence. I would encourage police to ask Cielo Vista security if they have any surveillance tapes of the parking lots over looking the area on I-10. My theory is someone wanted to cause an accident and catch it on video. Far fetched maybe, but this angle should be investigated.

So your inactions just helped to murder a police officer because your lazy ass was too stupid to get the ladder off the road.

nope, what happened is that woman is a super psychic. God is taking through her and has the ability to foretell things and she is of the Catholic church.

Not only the political and rock badasses are the cherub witnesses, now so are members of the EPPD and precisely what the cherub said. Told you one second with her, is a whole lifetime of God's truth and magicalness. Not much has to be said. She's beyond special ANGELS

This one is in the bag, bad news for the trucker thou. New laws make you move one free lane over when you see patrol lights giving tickets or anything.
So he shouldnt have even been close to patrol car. What trucking company was it. I know those non union companys have alot of drivers from Juarez running their routes.

The police officer was killed because some construction worker has no idea how to tie down a ladder on a pickup. Some just have racks to place them on and they hope the weight of the ladder will hold it down, or they are in too much of a hurry to get home or too damned drunk to care. For causing an accident it can be as high as a two hundred dollar fine. For death it can be a state jail felony. So to all you jackshit construction workers get off your butts and make sure the equipment you have on your POS trucks are properly tied down.

Ok that may be all ee true however what about the bone headed commuter - post number 1 - who saw the ladder on the road the day before and failed to report the ladder on the road or to take care of it themselves. He/she could have called TX DOT and they would have cleared the debris.

Normally I don't reply to trolls or dimwits such as yourself, tx dot, but in this case I'll make an exception. And, I'll tell you who the BONE HEADS in this thread are, too.

YOU, unbelievable, and Washington-WHAT.

Read my post again. 12-8... I saw a ladder on the freeway, same area, on December 8th. That's one week BEFORE the officer was killed. ONE WEEK BEFORE!

Apologies? I'm waiting.
