I find it hard to believe there are soo many morons out there who either don't watch the daily news or read the daily papers to do elementary arithmatic. If they could accomplish doing simple 2nd grade arithmatic they could figure out that Juarez,Mexico is indeed, without a doubt, the foremost #1 most dangerous city on Planet Earth.
If you don't believe me,just wait a short while and another of those morons who can't compute these facts into his or her little pea-brain will soon write back to argue and refute these simple true facts I have just presented to you. Just wait, watch and see...
At one time Baghdad and a few other cities were #1,numero uno, in most dangerous city categories, but their violence has diminished while at the same time Juarez's violence has beyond a doubt skyrocketed to #1,numero uno, second to none, on Panet Earth....sad but true.

washington dc- thats crazy. i lived in 5 latin american cities, born in latin america, and in washington (organisation of american states). give me a break- in 80% of washington you can walk freely without any problems any time of day. the suburbs are super safe mostly. outside of 2 or 3 areas it is perfectly safe.
in caracas, medellin, mexico city, you can go to a nice restaurant, in the center of city and for dessert have 50 armed men come and rob the entire restaurant at gun point. in caracas people are robbed in broad daylight right by presidential building with paid off police looking other way. in rio, hotel transfer buses are regularly ambushed by armed gangs on the main highway from airport. in juarez and tijuana my friends are afraid to leave their homes anytime after dark anywhere in the city for any purpose. i think reason DC and other american cities may appear in top lists is cause much more crime in america is reported; whereas 90% of crime in latin america no ones bothers cause corrupt police.
in my opinion, developed asian countries cities are the safest, then western europe, then usa, then mid east and russia, then latin america and very close behind africa.

this is not the full list....and it was a list done by a university in Mexico, of 50 cities. Detroit was 39. It was 50 most dangerous cities per capita, and over 300,000 people

Well i stopped counting after 3,000 but it is more than that for this year that closed. this is for ONE CITY, NOT A COUNTRY OR A STATE just one city with the population of 1.5 million habitants give or take probably alot less now with everybody that has left. And this is just for dead body count does not include any other crimes happening in this city which is about 30 miles long and about 30 wide. Now their are other things going on like extorsionist kidnappings, robberies, car jackings and mandatory money for protection just to name a few so please do not compare this is a lot for an city with an area this size
