The Chinese man powered taxi will reduce air pollution and batter streets less.

We have plenty of convicted politicians to act as mules,
Let's get them put to work.

That funding is for a bike sharing program. That also might keep people fit with exercise. Not to hurry fat people cross the bridges. If they want to improve air quality at the bridges have all those cars with Chihuahua license plates go through emissions inspection before crossing the bridge. I will be pi$$ed off if that money is not used for a bike program.

Truth of the matter is the so called research released by the city is misleading.

The programs in Europe lose money in maintenance and replacements . Yes , the people sometimes steal the bikes or wreck.

Do you really believe that the fitness justification? Notice the people making the decision will not be riding bikes! I just don't see an obese person trying to ride uphill with the hot sun. They're obese because of cultural foods. Heck, I lost 30 lbs just by not eating Mexican food. Plus, look at the number of motorcycles death and they have the power to try to escape an accident!

Ps. Another misuse of funds, they asked for bicycle money and now want to use it for another program. Not surprising! No wonder, the state doesn't send any money. Fix the damn streets and paint the lanes !

One solution would be to have an inaugural ride on a Sunday and allow all groups to participate. In California, they even have clothing optional rides. If we offered a chance for people to strip down butt nude and then ride around in the beautiful sunshine, it would likely get the program off to a good start.
