On this date, Pat Dillman was killed in Afghanistan by his own men. He was a true warrior and went down fighting as he refused to drop even while being riddled with machine gun bullets. Any fool who refuses to study history today and remember it is a damned disgrace. We need for all students to read their books and to learn a trade if we are going to more forward as a society.

Just to make sure that you young history students understand that Pat Tillman was killed by "friendly fire"in a fire fight by his own people.

You're damn straight! The original post said he was killed by his own men. That's friendly fire in any language.

I thought his names was Tillman, not Dillman, but it was a damn shame what happened to him. His family turned on the country, blaming the Army, Bush and Jessica Lynch for his demise. They cried coverup.

It was covered up for over two years. Jessica Lynch was not involved at all but the Army and George Bush and Dick Cheney and his commanding officers cooked the battlefield report.

I know Lynch wasn't involved in this deal but the Tillman family claimed the DOD had used her for propaganda purposes by embellishing her story too.
