An arctic blast is coming our way tomorrow and snow will be abundant. All you ladies who like to wear skirts need to be careful because there's a lot of perverts out there who love a windy day so they can see your buns when the wind blows up your skirt. Also, as a former law enforcement officer I must advise you all to stay off the roads when icy, except for black ice. Go ahead and drive on that at a good clip and you'll make it through fine.

EP's Winter storm watch just got upgraded to WINTER STORM WARNING!

Folks better prepare; I get a feeling it's gonna be Storm 2010 all over again. Or not. Better safe than sorry, I say.

It's clearly going to be a beast. Probably not as cold as 2 years ago but a real belly drop nonetheless. I beg people to stay off the roads, don't let your pipes freeze and don't have a fire in your home. The officers are already overworked and underpaid so they don't need to come to your houses in this cold.

The snow fall here one winter closed schools and the city had to request the military use their helicopters to make wood drops to people living on the flanks of Franklin Mountains on both sides. It took TXDOT three days to get Mesa street plowed from Sunland Park Drive down to the 4000 block. Cashway (used to be at 5700 Mesa)was broken into during the night and the burglar spent almost 8 hours trying to break the safe open. Power poles had been snapped at 5800 to 5400 Mesa. It was one of the worst times I have ever seen where there were three foot drifts and ice under the snow on the roadway. If this snow gets more than 3 inches we will be lucky. More than that and many people will not make it to work.
