At the end of the day, if House Republicans fail to advance a broader citizenship bill, but do manage to pass the KIDS Act, that may be sufficient to ensure a deal. In fact, that may be a preferable outcome from the Democrats’ perspective, as they will have secured a policy win that has repeatedly evaded them, while retaining the ability to attack Republicans for blocking citizenship for illegal immigrants not covered under the KIDS Act.

Whatever the outcome, it is hard to imagine a scenario in which President Obama signs an immigration-reform bill into law that does not leave the Democratic party in near-unanimous revelry, and the GOP in even greater disarray.

Every time there are talks about immigration reform there is an influx of illegal entries. Back in the day in 1986, President Reagan legalized close to 3 million illegals. There have been six other immigration reforms since then. We now have well over 12 million illegal aliens and counting illegally in our country. The gov’t has not learned that immigration reform does not work. In all previous immigration reform there were hundreds if not thousands of document fraud.

If you go in to youtube and look for videos of O talking about immigration reform he constantly refers to our “broken immigration laws” yet he opened our borders to everyone that wants to come in. On numerous speeches O has promised the American people that the gov’t is going to crackdown on people who hire illegals, but in reality non-deportations is the new normal. Then turns around say that if they illegals play by the rules … legalization. Ultimately O is responsible for the failures of our current immigration status.

The dream act did not pass when the senate and the house was under the democrats. Why?

Immigration reform does not mean letting everybody and their grandma in who wants to come into our country. It doesn’t mean to allow everyone to stay who wants to stay including illegal immigrant criminals / potential ter rorist. O is responsible for the current immigration chaos.

Read the following under 2013 Amnesty and charges of alleged treason: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V%C3%A1clav_Klau... could it happen here?

Can somebody tell me what the kids act?

I don't mind the status quo because that is what keeps us all happy. Change is the bane of business progression. And where do you get off calling me a slave owner? I pay all of my employees their fair share and give them a bowl of beans and a tortilla on Fridays out of the generosity of my heart. What they do in their free time is none of my business but when they show up to my place, they get busy and bust their butts. Someone suggested to me awhile back to hire Jamaicans and Haitians for a change but I heard from another source that they steal and I don't have security cameras on my property. So I think we should all just let things be as the old expression goes, "Let sleeping dogs lie."
It's their free time your mentioned that is costing this Country more than hiring a bunch of slaves to enrich you as we the teacher's, firefighter, Dr's, that have subsidized your lawlessness that makes us sick. The free time to rip off a neighbor, anchor at my Hospitals expense, and yes my friend you are amongst many white hat lawbreakers that never realize the consequence of protecting this human tragedy over supporting legal immigration and Americans. Your day will come when they'll find you, deport your slaves and fine your arse off for compliance in a crime.... have fun

The initial Immigration Reform Bill, prepped by the Gang of Eight, had language, added by the 4 Republicans, that would have made it law, that up to 200,000 per year of guest worker visas be issued. This was mandated by the American Chamber of Business, and their Republican lapdogs. The Chamber, and their Republican lapdogs, oppose any kind of immigration reform that curtails their supply of cheap labor.

Only a juvenile, like yourself, would insist on the last word by giving your wild-eyed rant and then demanding for the other to leave upon threat of no future response. You only have no need to respond to truth in here because eventually your racially charged insults run out. I don't agree with everything these immigrants do but I can tell you that they do a damn fine job around my house with whatever chore I assign them to do. They know their place, they always call me "sir" and they don't stop until the job is done. Every once in a while I throw them a bone and it's all good. So why do you want to muck it up for everyone by throwing a wrench into a perfectly good system? You seem to be getting by so what's the problem?

The University of California–Berkeley student government unanimously passed a resolution banning the term “illegal immigrant” from the body’s official discourse. The resolution is the second such measure to be passed since former Homeland Security secretary Janet Napolitano took over as president of the UC system.

The Berkeley student government showed its support for the “drop the I-word” campaign, deeming the term “racially charged,” according to the College Fix.“The ‘I’ word is legally inaccurate since being out of status is a civil rather than criminal infraction,” the resolution reads…

The resolution offers alternative terms in place of the rejected term so as to not “dehumanize people,” such as “undocumented,”“immigrants without papers,”“foreign nationals,” or “immigrants seeking status.”

Wouldn't the term: "immigrants seeking status" connote that they entered legally with the necessary paperwork in hand to start the legal process? The trouble is, they did not, they entered without permission. All they are seeking is to work jobs that they should not be privy to, and if they have children on our soil, they will probably be dipping into a system in which they didn't contribute. They ARE illegal aliens.

One has to look at the the students that attend our colleges. The don't have to be US Citizens. My gut feeling those that sought to make changes might not be citizens. Also, college kids may have not gone out in the real world. They will have a shock when they realize that you have to pay taxes and the college loans haunt you. Essentially, their proclamations mean nothing to me. As far as I am concerned they can call shit pudding. They can blame their failure on Bush. After all the leader of our country blames everyone else for his failures.
