Watched the portion of the football game where there was some sort of mistake made on the field by the direction of a coach's assistant. Coach Tubberville (Texas Tech) Slapped and punch the assistant coach knocking off the young mans hat and the earphones he had on at the time.

What if any penalty should the Coach be given? Suspension? A large fine? Or at the worst being fired?

My feeling is that he should be suspended for one game and pay a fine of $5,000.00 to $10,000.00 by the University before the NCAA comes in with the hobnail boots and stomps all over the Texas Tech program.

Your opinion, as usual, is wrong. The incident was an accident as the graduate assistant coach clearly understood. No discipline will be forthcoming.

DID you even look at the tape? that was no accident. The coach lost his temper and not for the first time.

Stop talking to yourself, Russell. Your point is not more believable when you also play devil's advocate.

Thanks to social media, minor incidents like this tend to get blown out of proportion.

I have no dog in this fight, but Abel, like Tuberville and Texas Tech are in denial. After the game, Tuberville looked straight into the camera and LIED! As if what he did on the field wasn't bad enough. Tech has a habit of hiring coaches that are bullies (See Bobbie Knight) just because they win games. Shame on Texas Tech. Fire Tuberville!!!

We should send them Mike Price, that would be a horrible punishment.

Also the last Coach they had is a Washington State or is it Oregon state. Anyways Coach Leach was on the the last coaches before Tubberville and he was accused of doing the same thing at Tech and now one of his players up in the North west is left the team because Coach Leach has been verbally, physically and psychologically abusing players.

They were both fired unceremoniously today. I guess you were prophetic in this case. My apologies for doubting your judgment.
