"Good Morning America" reports authorities have uncovered a new drug tunnel beneath the U.S./Mexico border in Arizona. It's just two feet wide, but it is 68 feet long. Agents seized more than 1,200 pounds of marijuana in the discovery. Two men have been taken into custody in connection with the tunnel. Officers described the tunnel as crude and hand-dug: the passageway does not contain any wooden shoring, ventilation or electrical equipment.(1:11)

The thing to do here is make a concerted effort to have electronic seismic transponders all along the border and cut a deep trench filling it with heavily re-barred cement barriers 5-10 feet thick and fifty feet deep along the fences where mexican villages and cities which have "sister" cities next door in America. It would then put a lot of "mericans" to work and cutting their hispanic relatives off at the knees.

The sensors could, but a fifty deep barrier won't . They will dig 60 ft. The smugglers are very resourceful.

The same holds true with a fence if it were fifty foot high they would build a sixty foot ladder. If all these hard working people should use all energy fighting corruption and crime in their country and try to fix it. Then the United States was to legalize marijuana things would change fast real fast.

But didn't Obama and Janet Napolitano recently tell us the border was sealed and it is time for another amnesty to end all amnesties (that's what they called all 3 of those since 1986)?

The border will never be sealed by mechanical means. Not as long as there are boats, planes, mining equipment, shovels, 4X4 SUVs, horses, mules etc.

The only way illegal immigration can be controlled is by requiring everyone over age 14 to have a national ID. That shifts the burden of proving citizenship upon the applicant for a job, and the laws are already on the books to enforce the law [8 USC 1324a] with fines and jail terms for those who employ illegal aliens. However they watered that law down by the "motor voter" policies along the border wherein several states issued or still does, drivers licenses to anyone, without proof of citizenship, and register them to vote at the same time they approve the license application. It includes Texas. The problem is that this country is run by politicians who are racketeers and profit from illegal immigration. Soon it will be only one political party, however, the Democrats. The GOP is voting themselves into extinction by supporting amnesties. The stages of the illegal alien endless cycle are: Illegal >Legal >Welfare > Citizenship with a Democrat voter ID.

Illegal immigrants do not become Republicans. Wake up Marco Rubio!
